Mike at Front Desk was the best receptionist you could ask for. So helpful and friendly. The Room was big and absolutly clean. I've arrived early in the morning and the team made it possible that I could check in earlier even that the hotel was fully booked. It's nice to get a small complimentary breakfast as well to start the day right. All in all a great Hotel & Team!

In the beginning there was a problem with the aircon but they have fixed it directly when I was outside on a tour. Amazing how fast they fixed it. So this isn't a complain. These technical things can happen and the team was directly so helpful. That matters!

The rooms are large and roomy. very well insulated and stocked with essentials; body lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner, tea, coffee, milk and bikkies! There were extra blankets and pillows and the curtains were blockout. Parking was outside the door.

There was a mix up over quantity of rooms. I booked two (2) rooms but charged for four (4). Due to the Highway road works, we arrived late (7.45pm) then left early so had no chance to follow up properly with the proprietor. The booking on Booking.com show 1 booking for 2 rooms; the emailed confirmation shows 1 booking for 2 rooms but my bank account shows 2 x $330.00 deducted. This needs to be rectified please.

Beautiful Hotel situated close to the centre of town. Lovely big room with a great little kitchenette; parking right outside our door; a lovely surprise of a free continental breakfast each morning; laundry facilities available for guests. The managers and staff were so very accommodating and helpful, and assisted us with several requests certainly proving that they are willing to go above and beyond to help their guests, including booking for us on tours. Could not rate them highly enough! Thank you for a brilliant stay!

The Management staff Jo and Brent were very helpful and friendly, including driving me to and from the airport... also lending me a bicycle to better see and experience Coober Pedy... much appreciated! I found the location very good... next to the Visitor Information Centre... and being just across the road from the Outback Bar and Grill, one of the few places in town to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner... My room was roomy... cool during the hot days, even when the air conditioning wasn't on...

The Mud Hut is situated perfectly just a short 1 minute walk from Greyhound Bus stop and the town. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have everything the traveller could hope for to make your stay more memorable. Small details that make you very welcome like make up remover cloths, biscuits to enjoy with a cup of tea/coffee, microwave, kettle, crockery, cutlery. It even has it’s own guest laundrette with drying line. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable. I can’t praise Mud Hut Motel and owners enough. Excellent. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

There was nothing to dislike about this property.

The Manager was awesome and really helpful. Quick and easy to book a tour for us and we had a great time.

The only thing of note was there was no kitchen sink etc or much space to make coffees or sandwiches etc. Had to get the water from the bathroom. Breakfast was provided, but had to go off the property for other meals. They have a bar and a dining room, but not used at all, except for breakfast.

Whenever we stay at Cober Pedy we stay here as it is the best, cleanest accomodation we have come across in a long time. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spotless and the location is great. We always go across the road to the roadhouse where the meals are awesome.

Not much. We went there a few years ago and they had a restaraunt for dinner but it looks like that may not happen now.

The room was nice, comfortable and had plenty of space. Breakfast was provided in the dining room, however it was just cereal and fruit juice, better than what most motels include.

There was only one small negative with our stay, the shower head leaked and water sprayed everywhere. Easy temporary fix, just hung the face washer over it.

Mud Hut Motel is at a convenient location. Motel, how a motel should be, you part your car in front of your room. Room facilities are nice, room was clean. The lady at reception received me warmly and helped answering to all my questions. Hotel gives an outback feel, and is steps away from the main streets and restaurants of Coober Pedy. I am booking it again, for my return journey as well.
