Staff could not have been more helpful with giving us extra help with our elevated bed for my health. On checking out my husband collapsed and the staff were incredible. They promptly called an ambulance and two staff stayed with him reassuring him when he came around. They also were more than helpful to me and even called the next day to see if we were OK. They also organised for us to have our evening meal in our room & it was beautiful. We will always recommend William Macintosh to anyone travelling to Naracoorte,

This accommodation is a little out of town but with an onsite restaurant it had all we needed with the added bonus of a nice rural out look. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Bed and pillows are excellent for a good nights sleep. Rooms are quiet with no noises coming from next door. Shower could be slightly larger but did the job. We ate in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food and the very friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.

All staff were welcoming and friendly both on arrival and in the restaurant. We had a spa room which was spacious, quiet and peaceful. It also had a small patio area. Very good after a long day driving. Food and service in the restaurant was good and the chef is Indonesian so I had the Nasi Goreng, which was excellent.

The bathroom was large but the units were cheap and in serious need of replacement. Even the spa bath had cracks in the top and was only partially working. It was a shame because with a bit of investment it could be made very nice. There were also only two towels provided. Frankly, these were probably sufficient, but, compared to similar places it made it seem a little penny pinching.

A quiet location set a good distance off highway with our wing having a good size room with a beautiful red gum park-like setting adjacent. Reception and the Highlander restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, with discount vouchers for Naracoorte caves entry, food was excellent and good value for a restaurant meal. USB charging station provided. WiFi was good. Price is very good value.

Bathroom fittings (toilet and basin) are getting tired and will need updating at some time. A bit awkward to get water from the bathroom basin tap for tea/coffee making as the jug would not fit under the spout. Bed was a little saggy.

The friendly staff on arrival was huge to us... They were very informative and helpful. They knew we had two rooms, so they worked some magic and put us next to each other. You could eat in the restaurant or take away breakfast and dinner... Breakfast can also be delivered to your door. It's close to town and has easy access in and out. There is an OTR servo just up the road open 24/7. There were some fantastic wines and drinks in the bar fridge at great prices.... We definitely can't find anything to complain about. You can tell all the staff take pride in their work and they are a good team.

It was a welcome oasis for us after an afternoon of driving through a deluge! The front office staff was very welcoming and accomodating, the two bedroom suite was small but comfortable and met our needs for the night. The kitchenette was great and stocked with snacks and refreshments and the restaurant was excellent!

The weather! Unfortunately, the rain didn't allow us to take in the picturesque environment.

Chef prepared a vegan meal for my wife, no spices as requested, excellent Flathead and chips for me. Restaurant is convenient , well set out and they have an excellent range of craft beers at reasonable prices . Bed was very comfy , room very clean and modern , excellent big TV , quiet location off main road , woken by magpies in the morning---- not traffic. Easy walking trails near the motel .

the light outside the room was a bit too bright. It did affect my sleep a bit , it would be nice if it was a bit dimmer or if curtains came closer the window so it could be blocked out.

The spacious room, the heat in the bathroom, the Italian bathroom with a large shower head and constant warm water. The big window opening on a green patch. The fast and reliable Wi-Fi.

Impossible to connect our phones to the television to cast our content or use SBS On demand / ABC iview. The big screen is useless if only Netflix (need to sign in) and free to air TV are available.

comfortable, good location, friendly and accommodating staff

we booked this motel because it was listed as pet friendly but the managers didn't know we had a pet when we arrived and the room we booked as not pet friendly, bookings.com need to provide more information such as contact the motel to ensure when you book a room that they are aware that you have a pet

The property was neat and tidy, there was a live band in the restaurant in the evening which was nice and not too loud. The food was nice too and the staff were very friendly.

There was a lot of “noise” during the night partly due to being on the main road and partly because you could hear the neighbouring guests coughing, using the facilities etc. which is probably quite normal but I didnt get a lot of sleep.
