We had a family of 6. Check in after hours was an absolute breeze! Staff are onto it and professional. The cabin we had was beautiful, clean, smelled nice, spacious room for our car and trailer, shower had great pressure and was free of mould, damage etc. unlike other discovery parks we have stayed at. So close to food places which made the end of a very long trip, amazing. Beautiful park and layout. Will definitely stay again!!

The recreation room really needs a good upgrade. I took my kids in there and the only thing that worked was the electronic arcade game thing which we needed coins for (I didn’t have coins on us) and the big connect 4. Pool table was unusable as it was after reception closed so we didn’t have access to the balls and cue, the punching arcade machine was out of order, the ping pong table had no balls or paddles. DP PA doesn’t have a jumping pillow ( I don’t think) if that’s what your kids favourite thing is (like mine… they survived though hahaha)☺️

Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the park was kept really well, very clean and tidy. Very noticeable that the owners are proud of the park and care about patrons experience.

Instructions for using washer/dryer were not helpful. We’ve never used these facilities at a park before and we were unfortunately charged multiple times for one wash because we weren’t familiar with how they work. The washer kept charging the card on each ‘wave’. I had expected that the washer wouldn’t continue charging the card when it hadn’t been started.

Nice comfortable beds and nice rooms, not noisy

Informed staff that we were leaving on Thursday morning and not Friday morning . Thursday morning I dropped both sets of keys to the office and informed the staff in the office that we were leaving today and not Friday , they thanked me and took the keys . On Friday morning I received a call from your office asking me about the keys that I did not drop in to the office when I left that morning. I said not very good communication in your office as I had left on Thursday morning and I dropped the keys in that morning. Received a call back telling me that they had found the keys. Staff need to communicate with each other.

We couldn't rate the staff and location more highly, we were able to have our requests met and even received a call the day we left to let us know we had left something behind which the park kept for us to collect on our return journey - thank you :). The room though an older cabin was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed, a place to easily park our car and move things into the cabin. Even though it was a busier time of year our area was quiet, We will be happy to stay at this park again.

Honestly nothing really, it was a great overnight accommodation which gave us time to get organised for a long and exciting trip. Well done team.

The bed was just wonderful. I arrived very late so soon after I just sank into that devine mattress and did not wake until I left at the crack of dawn. The shower was amazing! Can't fault the cabin at all.

Only issue was the direction to the cabin. As it was dark we drove to where the cabin showed on the map but it was not it. Same number but different area. Other than that, no complaints and would happily recommend Discovery 👌

Clean and modernish, enjoyed coffee making facilities and toaster. Bed comfortable and spare blanket meant I did not have to sweat under the quilt provided.

Outside table smokers ony my left and right scented my room to that of an ashtray. I closed the door but to no avail. The smell lingered for hours. Fortunately I bought some incense with me. Please consider segregating smokers (or non smokers) to the furtherest end of the complex. With 30 plus rooms in a row it should not be too difficult. Please respond to this, so I feel my concerns are actually being taken seriously. Thankyou.

The cleaners are an absolute asset. The room was one of, if not the, cleanest I've ever stayed in. Really nicely presented, in a beautiful park with fantastic amenities. The option of ambient lighting in the room was such a nice touch as well, as I hate using bright white overheads

The double bed had a bit of a creak to it when moving around. I tend to flop around a bit, so it disturbed my kids' sleep a little.

Facilities were great, bed in my budget cabin was comfortable, cabin functional with small kitchen and good clean bathroom with suitable space for 3 people comfortably. As I was alone, it was ample space.

Very old cabin in general, the wood trimmings has deteriorated, front doors get stuck at times, and right by the main road, so you can hear every truck passing by. Wouldn't recommend for light sleepers, lucky I'm not one

When we arrived there were no clean rooms available due to a miscommunication from the cleaners to the administration staff and so we could not check into our room right away. The reception staff were extremely apologetic and advised if we wanted to go get some food and come back they would fast track cleaning of the room we were awaiting. When we returned they upgraded us from a motel room to a cabin at no extra charge and gave us a complimentary wine and snack bundle and were still extremely apologetic about the mishap. Park cleanliness was impeccable and amenities were well maintained. Very positive vibe about the whole park, seems like a very nice family getaway destination.

manager Stephen wouldn’t allow myself and my family (2year old twins) to check in 20 minutes early go out cabin. an Indian woman on reception told us it was ready and Stephen told her not to give us our keys till 2pm. I’m not entirely sure why he would treat a young family this way in 40 degree heat! we were not rude and we’re completely shocked to be refused entry to our cabin simply because Check in is 2pm and we arrived at 1.40pm. my partner questioned this as the people checking in behind us were given their keys no problem. it was only then Stephen handed over the keys to our cabin. rude, unnecessary and seemed to be on a power trip.
