perhaps new owners? but place has had a bit of a facelift - security gate manual keys have been replaced with electronic, rooms have been painted new curtains .. just a nice freshen up - as long as parking is available outside the room - certainly my go to in Port Augusta

Was informed on arrival of additional charges because i booked with a dog. This should have been revealed and charged when I made the booking. I was also charged a $50 deposit on arrival for having a dog. I requested an inspection on departure and was refunded once i had the room inspected. Thats fair enough but it should be revealed when a booking is made not when u arrive.

Nice cool temperature controlled room on a 42 degree day. Thoughtful touches included dishes bucket and detergent sachets for washing cutlery and the provision of eco-friendly recyclable bowls and plates. Guest laundry is cheap ($3 per load in washing machine) and dryer is free, though was unavailable due to being 'out of order'. The staff were very helpful and offered us the use of their own commercial dryer for free!

Port Augusta isn't overly safe after dark, but not fault of motel. Motel room was nice and secure. :)

The location is excellent with nearby food and convenience outlets, hotel restaurant and an OTR not 1 minute away. Staff were most friendly and welcoming. Rooms a surprise, for responsible pet owners. Very comfortable, clean and well maintained.

Shower pressure could have been better, but the water was hot, and sure that this will improve.

We were travelling from Alice Springs with our border collies & we ended up running later than expected, I called the motel & the guy was fantastic !! He left the keys in the safe & when we arrived they were there, the room was fantastic , we had a great sleep & then I walked the dogs across the road around the foreshore . We will stay here every time we travel as nothing was a problem & staff were so welcoming & we can park our & trailer there without any problems . The price is is also great 😊

Have stayed here a few times and it is highly recommended, nothing flash but represents excellent value for money. Great location, easy to find, and has two pubs, bottle shop, grocery store and petrol station all within a 100 metres. The Hut takeaway food store, a one-minute walk away, is brilliant, one of the best I have been to

Location is great with a pub, cafe, bottle shop and Foodland nearby but the area has a fair few drunken locals nearby. Positive to this is according to the owners new security gates are planned. Important to note we felt safe at all times.

This is THE place to stay in Port Augusta - there are very new owners who are really pouring their heart and soul into this hotel. Super clean, nicely presented and great facilities including laundry and a well stocked shared kitchen. 5 stars from us! Best value for money in all of PA. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location is fantastic with off street parking, a great pub across the road, a super market and great take away food shop. Very spacious room with a big bathroom and the room has a microwave, toaster, plates and cuttlery. Oh and a big tv. The owners are lovely people and i will definitely stay again. I highly recommend 👌

Really clean, nice rooms. Extra touches like the shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser etc in the bathroom. Great location - right across the road from a pub. Easy to find, convenient when travelling. Able to have pets for a reasonable fee.
