The room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed (especially good heating, it was -2 during our stay). The internet access provided was fast, there was a complimentary breakfast and the bedding was comfortable. The food offerings at the hotel were also great, and you can take food up to your rooms from the dining area. Parking was available off the main road, and the location is great for visiting Bridgetown.

A continental breakfast is offered, but it doesn't include prepared meal elements; no bacon, egg or sausages. That wasn't quite what we expected, but we did appreciate the options that were presented. The entertainment system was a little archaic, and didn't support casting from any platform we had available.

The hotel is a traditional old pub right on the main road through Bridgetown, the man who checked us in, served our drinks, took our dinner order and served us was so nice and friendly. The food was good pub food, nothing fancy but the room was warm and lively even on a cold rainy Monday night. The room has been renovated in recent years with a very large bathroom, the rooms all open onto the wide verandah and are spacious. Couldn’t really ask for more in a country town !

The headboard had seen better days and could do with replacing. The wine selection is very small, I understand this is because of an agreement with a distributor but it would be nice to have a small better quality wine list as well.

Room was spacious and well serviced. Bed very comfortable especially on such a cold night. The breakfast room was excellent for travellers. Better than many I have seen in Europe and NZ, congratulations.

The staff member on arrival seemed annoyed at my intrusion into what didnt appear to be a busy day. The young man in the restaurant on the night was more interested in impressing his colleagues with banter than providing an interested and civil service to people. The youngest staff member was the saving grace here despite being nervous. Personally if I had seen one of my staff members act as he did, they would have been given formal notice to improve and lose their stylised disinterest in customer service or consider another career that suits them better. All other staff were great.

The staff at the Bridgetown Hotel were so amazingly kind, caring , professional and helpful. I loved my stay at the Bridgetown Hotel, with its rooms openning up onto a beautiful balcony. The service and food was so very good.

The only thing that I didn't like was unfortunately the Bridgetown Hotel isn't disability friendly however in defence of the hotel, I neglected to check before I booked a room and the staff did all they could to accommodate me with my disabilities. I would love to stay there again

The building is beautiful and retains that 19th century charm. The rooms have been renovated so are quite modern, clean and spacious. It was nice and quiet, and almost felt like staying at a friends place. The balcony had a beautiful view and my toddler had the best time running along and watching the cats below. The inclusive breakfast was a nice addition. It was all set up well so we could help ourselves which was handy.

We didn’t have a lot to complain about, just a few very minor things like no highchair available in the breakfast room. I have a couple of suggestions though if they’re open to it? my parents are elderly and I didn’t even consider the stairs when I booked. could there be a pop up warning or info available about having to climb a flight of stairs to the rooms? also as the shower is in the spa, a safety handrail on the wall might be an idea. My Mum was very apprehensive about falling in the big spa, and my Dad avoided it altogether. Just thinking for future guests and liability issues.

I like the location as it is central to the main high street in Bridgetown. The room looks updated and felt modern and clean.

Whilst the room felt modern and clean, it was, in fact, in need of repair. The bed headboard was worn and tattered, and the bathroom door needs replacing as it has suffered water damage, leaving it unsightly. The TV is way too small too, and the only relief from the stuffiness of the room was the Aircon, which worked well in the absence of a window for fresh air.

Breakfast was very nice in a lovely rustic dining room. We both sat out on the balcony upstairs and enjoyed wine and gin and tonics with a splendid local cheese platter and produce. The room was perfect for our purposes and the staff were always most helpful and accomodating.! Thank you, and we'll be back! Am recommending your hotel to friends.

I can't think of anything that we did not like. We enjoyed everything! Big two thumbs up!

The staff were extra helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. A wide verandah with individual tables and chairs enabled you to relax and watch the world pass by. The restaurant downstairs was convenient, and the food was excellent. A continental breakfast was provided with a comprehensive selection of cereals, bread, including gluten free, and condiments. Location was central to town, easy to find with parking at the back.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable & toiletries and a nice cereal & toast breakfast provided. The hotel did great food and was clearly popular with non residents.

The shower was a rain shower above a big spa bath in a marble floored bathroom with no curtain or shower screen, not ideal. There were some cobwebs and mould markings on the bathroom ceiling, the room furniture could do with being upgraded.

This rustic hotel is situated in a great location, right in the centre of Bridgetown. Had a lazy weekend, a spa on both days and enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the hotel. The food was very good, I really enjoyed the Asian Chicken Salad and the steak dishes. Peter and all the staff made me feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

This is not a dislike, just an experience. I stayed in a beautiful Queen Spa Room. The shower unit was above the spa, which meant a climb in and out. A grab rail would have made it a bit easier and safer. I would still book this room.
