The 3 bed villa we stayed in provided everything necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, and amenities like the TV, utility areas with sink to rinse off snorkel gear and washer/dryer added to the convenience. The villa boasted good air conditioning, soft beds, and a decent-sized lounge and dining area, ensuring a comfortable stay. We enjoyed dining outdoors, which featured a prep station, sink and Weber BBQ next to the outdoor table. Convenient parking right outside our unit and close proximity to both the generously sized, crystal-clear pool and an outstanding seafood restaurant (which we highly recommend) further enhanced our experience. The hotel's location was good, with Town beach just a short walk away, complemented by a mobile cafe for beachside coffee. Additionally, the hotel was only a 5-minute drive from town and shops. Highly recommend having a car for easy exploration, especially considering that the west coast holds most of the best spots on the reef and beaches. Visiting during the off-season in January had its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, we had the beaches and sealife to ourselves mostly, and we got lucky with the weather being an uncommonly cool 35c, but many activities and retailers were closed.

Not much. Just some tips: Charging points are there but we had to move beds etc, to gain access to wall sockets. Free Hotel wifi data is limited (our kids surpassed the week's allocation in hours) and mobile signal is patchy in the area - but that just gave us a welcome digital detox ;) Hotel reception was v. friendly, unfortunately, just not much help on local activities. Recommend you review and book before you arrive, as many operators and restaurants require advance notice. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone seeking a based in this truely amazing part of the world.

We stayed at Exmouth Escapes 4 years earlier and had a great time, so it was a no-brainer to book again for a 5-night stay. Resort as expected and relatively quiet and we chose a 2-bed apartment to give us a bit more space. Everything clean and tidy, although we had to ask for a frying pan as we couldn't find one.... although on departure, checking all the kitchen cupboards we did find one. The new pan was much better than the old one!! Pool very clean and generally quiet with occasional family/kids use and the areas around the resort are very well looked after. We had a dry thunderstorm whlst there which sparked a few bush fires around Exmouth, but this didn't affect our sightseeing and enjoyment, although on deaprture the main Exmouth-Minilya road was still closed so we had a 30 minute detour to join the main HIghway 1 southbound. We ate in Whalers restuarant twice during our stay and it was excellent both times... good choice for Exmouth!

The beds were comfortable, but could do with higher thread count linens... apart from that all good.

Room was comfortable and, overall, well equipped. A couple of maintenance issues (cracked jointing on floor tiles in hall / bathroom) but very minor and didn’t affect our stay. Air con in lounge area wasn’t working, fixed next day and confirmed by email when done (as we were out). Friendly staff, great pool area.

Fridge in room (39) was very small - it was an under counter fridge freezer but as there is a separate under counter freezer as well the limited fridge space is a problem, especially in the very hot summer months when you need to keep most food in the fridge.

We loved the apartment, the facilities at the resort, the friendly staff and the excellent presentation and maintenance of the property. Also the food at the restaurant was excellent.

The pool was freezing and as a result we could not use it at all during our eleven day stay. When we raised this concern, we were informed that there was no solar blanket or heating to the pool, however the issue was well known to the management. Apparently the manager had decided not to heat the pool (or provide shade in the hotter months) due to cost considerations. This is very disappointing given the property is advertised as a resort. It is interesting to note the other resort in Exmouth does heat their pool during the cooler months. Whilst the food at the restaurant was outstanding the service was poor.

The accom was suitable and comfortable and provided us with a good base from which to tour and enjoy the North West Cape. Th pool was quite cold but ok when you need cooling down in the hot weather (not so much when we were there in May). To have an excellent restaurant on-site was an added bonus. Staff were all very friendly and helpful when needed.

The accom was to provide a mid-stay clean and linen change which somehow got missed. Unfortunate but sometimes these things happen if the establishment is understaffed or utilising inexperienced staff. If this happens, report it and it will be resolved.

The rooms were super clean and had everything you needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and clean. We paid $800 for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus washing machine and fully self-contained kitchen for 3 nights, which I thought was great value for money!

after a long day in the sun all we wanted to do was relax with the kids and watch a movie but there wasn't enough room to sit together comfortably as the 2 seater couch is rock hard and the 2 chairs are really formal.

Restaurant on property was good. Airport bus and excursion busses stopped right in front of property. Somewhat walkable. About 20min walk to Manta Rays Bistro, Whalebone Brewery, and town. I liked they had a clothes washer in the room and a drying rack. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Even though it was a one bedroom apartment, it still felt cramped. We were there only for 3 nights. So it was fine. We had 2 adults 1 child in our unit and they said it was OK as long as we ordered the extra bed. The “bed” just turned out to be just a foam mattress. That’s it. Also, they were stingy with the towels. There were 3 people in the unit but only 2 bath sized towels. No extras. Limited hours of front office was less than ideal. If you needed beach/pool towels before an excursion, get them the day before. They won’t be open early enough to get towels the morning you are picked up for your excursion.

Loved the location, room size & facilities. Breakfast at Whalers was excellent so delicious. Everything was clean and quiet

We couldn’t park in front of our apartment as there was a heap of cars parked after we came back from dinner our first night (guessing this was outside restaurant guests) Then the last morning we went into get a coffee at the restaurant, staff saw us walk in (they carried on cleaning outside) it was early but two other guests were eating outside. The chef was just on his phone, so after 5mins or so we just walked out.

The appartment was clean, tidy, well appointed and secure. The air-conditioning was fantastic in the heat and the two units (one in the living area and the other in the bedroom) were well placed and definitely needed. The pool area was fantastic with a small, shallow paddle pool for kids and a larger deeper pool for adults.

The restuarant was quite expensive and didn't have a fantastic range of food on offer. The location of the resort wasn't amazing, however Exmouth is very spread out so a car is definitely needed if you aren't doing tours every day like I did. It took me 20 minutes to walk into the centre of the town, and the supermarkets, which if it hadn't been so hot and humid wouldn't have been an issue at all.

Very good restaurant which seemed to attract people from outside the resort. Individual BBQ facilities and outdoor setting for each apartment. We also liked the way they handled our problem with the room - see "What didn't you like" below.

When we first arrived the room allocated had a bad smell. When this was raised with reception they didn't seem surprised - their attitude suggested I wasn't the first to complain. However they were full and we couldn't be moved. They offered to not charge for the first night in the smelly room and upgrade us to a 3 bedroom villa for the next 2 nights at no additional cost. We thought this very fair and appreciated their efforts.
