Spotless clean recently refurbished hotel. Nice comfortable room with a modern bathroom and huge shower. Breakfast is served downstair and is plenty with lot of choices and eggs dishes for the guests that wants it The location is fantastic. In our opinion st Paul is the best village of this area and offer lots to do and stunning views of the farming area.

We wish the antique grand piano in the breakfast room was kept in working condition. It’s really a beautiful instrument

We always stay at this hotel on our holiday trip to Italy. We are very satisfied. The rooms - especially the ones on the second floor - are new and completely renovated. The beds are comfortable. If you get a room facing the back, you can enjoy a peaceful sleep with the window open and the fresh mountain breeze of Carinthia. Personally, we also like the smell of the Austrian countryside. Our breakfast is sufficient, it is tasty, composed of quality meat products and cheeses, but also sweet cakes or pastries.

I can't think of anything to complain about.

Very nice place with a with family atmosphere. Very good breakfast and nice and helpful staff. We arrived late, but this was not a problem and somebody was still at reception.

The only remark: the standard of the room according to the photos looked a bit better than in reality (family room). The entrance to the room was directly on the children's bed and it was difficult to go to the other part of the room. However we only stayed overnight during a long trip so in the end it wasn't a very big deal.

Landhotel Freitag is a very nice place to stay right in the center of idyllic Sankt Paul im Lavanttal. Though it overlooks the main street, there's minimal traffic, the whole village is really tranquil. The hotel is very clean, nicely maintained, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi, bathroom amenities, tea and coffee in the corridors (the former is free, the latter for a nominal price) and I got a very friendly welcome. Breakfast is really great with many types of local/homemade products (cold cuts, cheeses, dips etc.). Though I usually don't like it when coffee comes from an automatic machine, it actually makes very decent coffee.

As it's an older structure, the door of my room didn't really keep any noise out, so any movement on the corridors could be heard loud and clear. But that's really the only thing I can criticize.

Perfectly clean and very comfortable rooms. It seems that the hotel, or at least part of its rooms, has been recently refurbished and modernised.

Breakfast choices and logistics could be improved. For example the coffee machines are quite slow and placed too close to juices and yogurts. A line to get coffees blocks access to juices, etc.

Great place situated in the countryside. The whole area is peaceful and quiet. I had a very good night sleep. I stayed in the single room number 5. Really nice, clean and tidy room with a compact but lovely and well decorated bathroom. The breakfast was very good, with good selection of breads, the cheeses were lovely and the coffee from a proper coffee machine was absolutely spot on.

We really liked to stay in this hotel as the breakfast was nice, staff was very helpful and rooms clean and beds comfortable.

Small pillows, but we could get extra pillows at the end. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel but it was very busy and we couldnt park next to the hotel unfortunately.

Very nice and warm room, with new furnitures. Bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast tasty and various. Very quiet position, no noise from outside. We'll choose It again, if again in that zone...

Great place, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Private parking in the back of the hotel very comfortable.

It’s always a pleasure to stay here! Great place for everyone who travelling long distances from north of Europe. It was our second visit and would like to say that the hotel and the Saint Paul am Lavantall are the places that you never forget. Highly recommend!
