We only stayed here one night on a road trip en route between the Stelvio pass and Hallstatt, but Wenns and the Weiratherhof turned out to be an unexpected gem. And the mountain road into Wenns from Neuer Zoll on the A12 via Piller was possibly the best road of the day - including the ‘mighty’ Stelvio. The view from our balcony in the morning with the birds singing was pure bliss too.

the matras of the bed was one of the best we had in a long time. The room/toilet was very clean and the room was large. the breakfast was even better with lots of options, everything tasted great and was fresh. They will ask for what kind of eggs you would like as well. The restaurant where they currently run together with is indeed just 3-4 min walk down the hill (once you reach the mainstreet, it is on your left) and its about 5-6 min walk backwards. you can ofc take your car if you want. the staff is service oriented and are flexible and focused on taking care of you. lovely stay.

toilet tiles are a bit out of style but its very clean so look past that and you will have a great stay. hotel is situated away from the main road so not that much traffic

Big room, huge and nice balcony, the breakfast was very good and things that were not there could be requested. Very good Latte Macchiato. Went for dinner at Pitztalerhof (5 min walk) to have a very good Fitness Salad. Kitchen closes at 20:15, but arriving at 20:15 we got good food served and were asked for desert, which we skipped. Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately we had to go to another place to have dinner, because Pension Weihratherhof was understaffed. The present staff did their best to make the stay as comfy as possible and was helpful giving us a replacement location to have dinner.

Very friendly owners, lovely breakfast. Nice view from the balcony.

Not the fault of the property or the owners, but the whole town had a power cut because of storms on the evening we were there, so our dinner was a packet of crisps, an apple and a beer from the car.

The rooms were extra big and cozy, bed sheets are super comfy, curtains keeps the room in total darkness, in the shower was bath, which was great after skiing, and the breakfast was amazing!!! Definitely the best we had in Austria!

The owners were very welcoming and they made us feel at home. The location and views were outstanding! Parking easy.

Upon arrival the hotel felt dull. It definitely needs some refurbishment especially the bathroom which looks shabby and there are puddles of water leaking after taking a shower. Pillows need to be changed too.

Great breakfast included, very friendly staff. Warm welcome, big rooms, amazing view. I would certainly return.

I liked it all. It's maybe not for everyone, but it is a classic Austrian chalet and the town is very cute!
