The hotel’s location was stunningly beautiful. The natural tropical beauty of the beach and the ruins of the old castle make it so interesting. It’s a quiet area unspoilt by tourism. But if you want to find more tourist spots this can easily be done by bus (stop outside the hotel) or by taxi or hire cars. The locals that use the beach and sell shells/jewellery are so friendly and will offer their local knowledge about the St Phillip area and Barbados generally. Personally they have made my holiday extra special, particularly as I was holidaying alone. There is also a fisherman living on the nearby in a shack on the beach, he’s so welcoming and I hope he can continue living there like he does. The local people here are happy to share their knowledge and it’s a knowledge that is increasingly at risk of being lost. The hotel itself is stunning, there is a good choice of food selection and the staff are very helpful.

Hotel is stunning our room was spacious clean & comfortable. Restaurants good staff a bit surly. The hotel was very busy.

Took 2 hours to check in due to housekeeping. Staff were very apologetic. Difficult to get into the fine dining restaurant. Book as soon as you arrive.

The meals were well prepared and presented. There was a good variety to meet most needs. I love the flora near to the Beachside and the Castle and suggest that you add the names to make them easier to identify.

Had to wait a long time to be checked in. Our bags were not taken to the room.

Great hotel, New modern and clean.

No gym. A few more restaurants would have been great.

The staff was so friendly, learned our names, knew what we liked to drink, they genuinely cared about making our experience the best it could be. The Bajan people are truly one of the most beautiful people on earth. We left feeling like family. We still miss seeing them.

We were charged for things we weren't told about but had no choice to pay at the time. The checkout was not a great experience. We had surprise charges that I have serious issues with. But we couldn't hang around to dispute them as we had a flight to catch.

Already looking forward to our next stay. Beautiful property, great amenities, friendly staff.

Lovely property, food was great, staff helpful and friendly

Best food we’ve ever had at an all inclusive! The staff was so kind and catering! The reception staff was so friendly & Brittany at the Sam Lords Grill pool restaurant was the best! The property is beautiful. Make sure you also check out the Castle View, their fine dining restaurant (No children 12 & under). Again great food & beautiful atmosphere. The hotel is really new so some of the facilities weren’t up and running yet but didn’t feel like we missed out on anything.

Again the hotel is really new so I think they’re still trying to get into the swing of things with wait times at restaurants for food or the check in process. The staff is so nice that it more than makes up for it. Just be patient and grant grace it’s all worth it!

The property was beautiful although it’s not fully open. I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but I will definitely return once it’s fully up & running. All the staff were very friendly. Dwight the bartender was awesome! It’s far away from the local stuff so taxis were expensive but we did visit Oistins, Bridgetown & Holetown & an excursion. Being that the hotel is very new & not open at its full capacity it was way too quiet for me. Not many people & no entertainment so it was boring at night. They were setting up for entertainment on the last night of our 8 day stay & also has some type of business event so there were more people arriving but that was also on our last day. Food was great! Not your typical buffet food for lunch & dinner because it was a different menu daily. Breakfast was the same daily but a variety to choose from. The ocean was beautiful but the waves were too rough because it was very windy so swimming was off limits but there was an area a little walk down where the waters were calmer. The property really have a lot of great potential so I will definitely be returning once it’s fully complete.

Need more nightly entertainment

Everything felt comfortable, lighting, furniture, etc. You can use everything in the mini bar. Nespresso coffee was served all over property and there was an in-room machine for your own use which is perfect for the serious coffee drinker. The staff were so friendly, kind and they remembered who you are and told us congratulations at every turn. The food was actually great and flavored well for such a large scale hotel! They offered a magnitude of food options that you were always able to find something you’d enjoy. The facilities were great. The gym was clean and opened 24/7. The pools were clean and always open and there were lounge chairs and cabanas everywhere so you always had space to lay out. The beach access was a nice little walk. It was cool and comfortable and so worth it. The overall aesthetic of the hotel was warm and inviting with large beach white walls and columns. Just so picturesque. Even though we’re from Barbados and live here year round, you really feel like you’re in the most tropical place in the world. We had such a wonderful time for our honeymoon that we will be coming back to celebrate every year ❤️

The floors were cold in the rooms even with us having control over the AC so having light bedroom slippers to go back with the robes would be great.
