My room had a view over the river Meuse and the town of Dinant. I loved opening the windows and sitting beside them to watch the townships activities below. I loved the enclosed inner courtyard that houses the bar, lounge and breakfast area. The corridors and windows are beautiful. I love the incentive to swap daily room service for a large beer! All staff were friendly, attentive and respectful. I appreciated that they understood English and my broken French. I loved the quick responses in the booking.com messenger app. I loved being given a map of the town and local attractions. I loved the book detailing the history of the venue.

There was a bad smell on my floor and in my room. Staff offered to swap me but I was happy enough opening my window and using the air freshener they provided me. I also didn’t like the room key (sorry!). The strange shape was very difficult to insert correctly. Many times I had to put down everything I was carrying, bend down on my knee to peer into the keyhole in order to insert the key.

The breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. The property was neat, and I bet would be even better in the summer with the terrace open. My room was fine, the bathroom very spacious. My bed was comfortable.

The keys - it is a very large key (which is actually a bottle opener, which is handy) but not the easiest to carry around, and the key itself was like a screwdriver that did not fit easily with the door - it was about a 60-90 second process to lock or unlock the door having to bend down to line it up, and rotate 90 degrees each time and hope it works. I just ended up leaving it unlocked most the time.

I love travelling so I have quite some experience when I say that I totally recommend that hotel! The building is really beautiful and clean, so are the rooms. I absolutely loved my room. It had everything I needed and it was top clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones that I have slept in so this is a great bonus!! The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted and was good, too! The staff was really nice. The beer was great (I say that as a German!) You can park there and easily walk to the center of Dinant, which will take only a few minutes. The view is also great!! From the room that I had and when you walk from the building to the center.

The fact this is a former Monastry to where THE best beer EVER was created, automatically makes it AMAZING!!! The Leffe tour is an absolute must. The bar area in the centre (old courtyard) makes the place so special. The rooms are very spacious and the view over Dinant is superb. Very clean and everything is authentic yet well thought out. Breakfast absolutely brilliant - so much choice. Smoked salmon and black bread, scarmbled eggs and high quality bacon, as well as superb fruit options and the coffee is delicious. Overall, the staff are VERY friendly and nothing was too much for them. They made our stay so special and memorable!!! Thank you.

This is only my opinion - the pillows were huge and far too soft. This is THE only downfall I can think of. Others may think the pillows are great, but I like my head to be supported. I had 3 pillows and my head sank down to the mattress. Or is it just my fat head? ... amazing hotel!

Comfortable (comfort) room, big, clean heated bathroom, a free daily coffee and thee, very good breakfast. Bar open until midnight. The history about this place. Instead of having the staff clean our room, we got the option to simply receive a basket with fresh towels and other needs, which we could return at checkout after which we received a bit bottle of Leffe. Last but not least, the super friendly staff who all speak Dutch, English and French.

One of the heaters in our room didn't work, so the room couldn't warm up quite as much as we wanted during these cold days. But after letting the staff know, we got a temporary electric heater in our room. They also always forgot to give an extra trashbag to replace the bag in the little trashcan in our bathroom.

This hotel is great! The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is 'all you can eat' with cold and warm food. Different kinds of bread, fruit and yoghurt. They even have cava or rosé, which is rare to see at a breakfast, The staff is friendly. The hotel does not have a restaurant but a bar that is open until midnight. Lots of parking space with no worries you will not find a spot. Dinant is within a 5 minutes walk, where you will find a lot of bars and restaurants. Special recommendation goes to Restaurant La Citadelle just across the bridge. Nice food, great ambiance, great staff. Also Pizzeria Onda Calabra just before crossing the bridge, is a great choice. Only this restaurant is not very big, so call them to make a reservation.

The location of the hotel was perfect, overlooking the river and the town and within very easy reach of all the restaurants and shops. The large carpark was a real advantage for us. My husband loved the fact that the Leffe beer museum was part of our hotel! The hotel is actually a converted nunnery and so much of its charm comes from this. The rooms were large, clean and airy with excellent air con (which we needed as it was really hot). many original artefacts can be found in the hotel and breakfast is served in the centre of the building with a lovely glass roof giving light to the room. The garden and terrace area are nice for relaxing with a beer (Leffe of course) and really peaceful. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice! It is a full buffet style breakfast and the waiting staff keep everything refilled quickly. A really lovely place to stay with friendly staff.

My only criticism is that the hotel seems to be under staffed. The person on reception is expected to check in hotel guests, take bookings for the Leffe tour/museum, sell beer / gifts and serve at the bar! This is too much over too wide an area. Check in took us a very long time as we had to wait behind a couple who were buying beer gifts and were deliberating over their choices for ages! There was nothing the receptionist could do. It also took quite a while to get a drink in the evening as the staff member on duty had to be in so many places! This maybe needs looking at!

Great location and amazing spacious room in the new block with views of the church and the citadel in the distance. Very tastefully recently renovated room and extra large double bed. Delicious breakfast in the old monastery block. Worthwhile tour round the Maison Leffe museum also in the old block.

Slight confusion where to book in at Reception. Ended up in one queue - suitcase in hand with people paying entry for the museum! Can't believe that the large bathroom only had a shower over the bath and not a seperate cubicle. My wife struggled with access to the bath which was high sided and very flexible acrylic. ( Room 302 )

The location is great - just a short walk from Dinant down the hill, so you can leave your car behind. Within 10-15 minutes you have access to shops. restaurants, a cable car and boat trips on the Meuse. If you are expecting a converted monastery not to be the last word in luxury, you would be wrong. The rooms are very well appointed and huge. We had a large terrace with a table and sunbeds and the room even had a 2 person sauna. The Leffe beer museum is located in the bullding and we were offered a free beer when we arrived which we drank on the terrace overlooking the river and the town. We were also given 25 Euros credit each to use in the nearby casino, which is also run by Infiniti. There is ample onsite parking. The breakfast offered a large choice of cooked and cold foods and was excellent. We were given a friendly welcome by a very informative lady on reception. Over all a great experience.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with stunning views of the city. Housed in a historic building, it was a wonderful experience spending the night there. The rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of options. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming. The receptionist provided detailed recommendations on where and how to explore Dinant, which was very helpful. A delightful touch was the complimentary Leffe beer from the hotel. The value for money is absolutely excellent!
