This is a wonderful bed and breakfast located in a historic building with lots of atmosphere. The owners have done a superior job of keeping the best features of the old building and melding it with the modern amenities guests love. The courtyard housed a aperitif bar that looked friendly and welcoming. 0 The hosts were attentive to our needs, and answered all questions thoroughly. The bedroom had very comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a modern bathroom. We loved the exposed beams from the original building. Toon made the best breakfast: yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, eggs, bacon, a large assortment of breads and rolls, home made jams, cold cuts, cheeses, and in case you weren't already full, some sweet pastries. I would gladly stay there again.

My only concern was the stairway up to our rooms. They were beautiful, and part of the old building features, but as someone that is somewhat handicapped, I found them difficult, and a bit scary. Everyone else in our party were able to maneuver them easily.

We stayed there for one night to visit a wedding in the neighborhood. The owner went the extra mile to make sure we could check in earlier to get ready. Very friendly staff and owner, very clean, great bed and shower, beautifully designed room with the old characteristics of the building. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. The owner clearly has a passion for food and uses a lot of local produce. The B&B has a nice bar/terrace outside where you can get get a drink or eat some very tasty appetizers.

The window in our room was facing a wall. Not a problem for us since we where never really there during the daytime but maybe for other guests?

A wonderful characterful property with open beams, yet with modern bathroom and facilities. The staff were absolutely excellent.

Although the upstairs room was wonderful, the staircase and the landing rail were very difficult to negotiate. They would have failed health & safety standards in the UK. The landing rail was wobbly. The stairs are very narrow. A step down and a step up are necessary to reach the landing light switch. Not recommended for the elderly or for the less mobile.

This B&B was really a pleasant surprise. Everything was much more than we expected. The bedroom was exceptional with large bathroom and large shower. The top of the bathroom was the private sauna. It was so nice to relaxing and to be able to enjoy finally a sauna during this covid times. The concept of the whole B&B Sillant is marvelous. Every detail is thought of and the breakfast was one of the better we had. Toon, our host, made sure you would not leave hungry. If we will be in this neighborhood again, this is the place we would go to.

Not to have stayed longer.

Perfect location, easy to park. Great place, great people, great experience. I planned to travel just by myself and at the last minute I had to come with my 2 boys and they were so helpful and nice. We just loved breakfast (so good with plenty of fresh, tasty choices and beautiful details like a little macaron at the end of it).

Nothing to change except maybe better pillows ? And not depending on them but so you now: you are by the church meaning the bell will wake you up at 6am :) They provide earplugs but still...

Super localization. In a center of small village. Nice venue.

There was one issue Around the building was a road and a church Road means cars and bus, church means bell ring. This was not a problem - but if you like to sleep all the day .. It may be :) Otherwise, there was no 'minus'

Great hosts, great location, incredible historical building. The breakfast was extraordinary. Will be happy to come again.

We were very happy with our stay though the kids (who slept in the living room) complained about noise from the street. But frankly, the building is so incredible that the noise is worth it.

Friendly host, nice and cosy room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice surrounding, everything is fine.

a small note is the small staircase go up to the deluxe room is too steep, would be difficult for guests who carry a big suitcase to go up to the room.

Absolutely amazing breakfast- probably one of the best I have ever had. Lovely couple running this hotel. The place has been renovated with such care and attention to detail.

I like to sleep with the windows open, but at times the noise of traffic could be a little loud.

very friendly host, excellent breakfast, very friendly welcome, room at the back of the house quiet. location to store bikes. excellent stay, good guidance to nice local restaurants.
