Beautifully appointed room with cable tv and plenty of room. Free tea and coffee always available in the lobby. Lovely breakfast buffet with good choice and freshly cooked eggs available. This small hotel has free parking and the village is really pretty with a beautiful castle and grounds to visit and is very quiet. There are several really good restaurants within walking distance and we especially liked Mango Cafe, virtually opposite the hotel. Less than 1/2 an hour to Ypres and Tyne Cot Cemetery and about 1 1/2 hours to the ferries.

Nothing to dislike

Very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious. I stayed in a single room so was the smaller rooms but even so it was big enough for 1 person and had everything and more you'd find in a bigger room at other hotels. Plenty of room for clothes, lovely shower, plenty of charging sockets, air-conditioning and TV (got English channels) and a big bonus was a fridge in the room. If you're thinking of staying here then I definitely recommend it. I will be staying here again on my next trip.

Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Room was good size, and kept very clean. Shower room was excellent, and beds comfortable. It was a heatwave when we were there and the air conditioning was wonderful. I went to Belgium for a new knee at Roeselare hospital and my wife was left to her own devices for 5 days. The hotel owner, Philip, and staff were very considerate and helpful to her.

All was very nice and room was really comfortable. Air conditioning was useful and breakfast was very good one. Personnel was very kind and helpful.

It is a remote area with only 1, and pretty busy restaurant nearby. So, having a dinner without moving with car is kind of complicated, especially that we arrived during the day off in Belgium.

Ideal position for a base to go and See the Tour of Flanders - there's also a great restaurant about 10 houses away. Very clean and tidy, parking easy, breakfast really good - there's nothing not to like about it

The Weather

The room is clean, a bit small, but the beds were very good. I was not expecting this. The room also have a nice terrace where you can sit outside and relax a bit after a long work day. The staff was friendly, place to park your car and good breakfast to start your day.

Convenient location, all the facilities you expect. The host was most helpful with bike storage and early check-in. The room was well equipped, clean and bright

Nice calm hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Modest, but delicious breakfast. Coffee and tea available for free at any time of a day (big plus).

There are alll equipments for a good business trip and rest. The restaurant close to the hotel is very nice My room was quiet as required

The lack of beside lamps should be good

Standard basics, nothing exeptional, apart from the location itself with a very nice breakfast in combination with a supportive and friendly staff.
