- great location, very central and walking distance everywhere - very comfortable, clean - there is parking possibility for free just next to the hotel - great stuff - good restaurant

- we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. We hoped for a buffet but it was a la carte with mostly Bosnian options. The sizes and taste were good, just we were hoping for some more choice and healthy options - can get a bit loud from the restaurant

- the socket on one side of the bed did not work - the bathroom floor could not be dried. we’ve never experienced this in a hotel bathroom before. even with the bathmat and keeping the fan on, the floor never dried, even overnight. we tried wearing the one pair of slippers left in the room but they were quickly soaked through. see attached picture.

Carpe Diem is by far the best hotel in Zenica. It is positioned central in the city and several good restaurants are within walking distance. The best restuarant is belonging to the hotel (placed in the basement). The room was spacecious and very very clean. The decor in the romm was modern and stylish. The internet was very fast as you expect these days.

The light in the bathroom was not good for shaving or make-up. The staff told me that they are planning to improve this minor problem. There is no free parking at the hotel. Nearby there is public parking for 2 EUR a day.

The hotel is located centrally, in the middle of Zenica. Right next to Muzicka Skola (that I attended back in 1970-s) and close to the former IGK elementary school (presently O.S. Musa Cazim Catic), which I also attended back in the '70s. Very clean and neatly appointed. The breakfast (included with room) was something you can only see in Zenica (see the attached photo). Hard-boiled eggs, smoked meat, Bosnian coffee, cheese, pastries... All you can wish for. And the staff at the restaurant was great! One of the ladies was making sure we had everything we needed, asking if we needed a cappuccino instead of Bosnian coffee, if we needed anything else, etc. She always had a big smile, even though it was early in the morning. (Bosnians don't smile early in the morning, trust me.) The stuff of legends: One morning, coffee was running low. She walks by and says: "Sad ce vruca kafa" (hot coffee is coming). The words my wife loves more than anything. I didn't get her name but we absolutely loved her! Also, we loved the cafe bar outside. The staff was also great there. Thank you guys (and girls). I will be back.

It’s my second time in this hotel , my first stay was so amazing and very good rooms Location is good and the restaurant is so good

This stay our room toilet was liking and tolet tower was not clean No front desk staff , only day time When we arrived was 4pm the staff check is in was from restaurant, no English , when I tried to explain chenge the room he couldn’t understand

Lovely hotel with large and well furnished rooms. It was above my expectations.

If there is not much visitors at the hotel, that morning they do not prepare a open buffet menu. It is totally random and not possible to know it before :) You have to order and wait about 30 minutes. If you travel for work and want to guarantee breakfast you have to wake 30 min. before.

Breakfast was great. Beautiful hotel, restaurant and cafe. Great location.

Parking is a bit tough sometimes. Small lot so anyone going to the cafe or daycare use the parking. Not much they can do about that though.

Heating got broken during the stay but hotel staff provided imediate solutin with electric heaters and escalated issue to facility support that fix the heating problem within 24 hours

The location is perfect in this city. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the hotel restaurant, also is accommodating, and very yummy! The breakfast met expectations; We also ordered room service, ate in the restaurant, and had special requests- everything was perfect!

As travelers from the US, the indoor smoking at the restaurant made us a little uncomfortable in moments.

The break fast was OK, not much choices of food. Can be improved. The location is very good. Special mention about Armin & Sara. Both were excellent in their service.

Everything was good, except it would have been good if the room had water and coffee/tea. These were missing. However, the staff at the reception arranged for morning coffee in the room.
