Great location, comfortable room though not much room around the bed, good food. Very good spa service

1) Restaurant menu choices limited 2) Booking.com site shows game drives without additional charge, but all such activities are extra 3) Lodge was contacted before arrival to book Vic Falls day trip but this had not been done 4) Vic Falls day trip was booked as guided, but driver had been told it was unguided. He was helpful and recovered the situation but no thanks to the contractor

We had an amazing time at the lodge. Perfect location, beautiful rooms and hotel grounds. We loved all the animals and critters roaming around 🤩 Special shout out to the chef Mike who went above and beyond to cater for us vegans. We truly appreciate him and all the restaurant staff. All the staff in general was amazing, genuinely nice and friendly. It made us feel at home and we could not have asked for a better time in Chobe.

The tour operator took over at times, many tourists that did not stay at the hotel occupied the lobby and seating areas… which led to residents being unable to enjoy the beautiful facilities. If you are a small group I recommend using Kalahari Tours for boat trips and safari’s, the inhouse tour operator is targeted toward large groups of tourists.

Amazing location with lovely rooms, staff and facilities. Animals present around the rooms made the experience surreal...

The bathroom toilet seat felt small for the commode and was not stable. The shower could also benefit from a glass door to prevent water from getting on to the bathroom floors. It would also be amazing if the kitchen could prepare halal food separately from other non halal items as the staff informed me that the meat is halal but unfortunately prepared alongside other non halal items making it unsuitable for Muslims.

The lodge is ideally situated next to a small town , 10 mins from Chobe National Park. The facilities are amazing. The staff , well, they are so lovely . They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is truly special . The food is very good and our nightly glass of wine around the fire pit watching the spectacular sunset was magical. They can organise trips and game drives from the lodge and we saw so many animals, including Lions and their cubs playing , Elephants , a leopard , hippos and many more . We were a party of 3 couples and we all agreed that this was our best holiday ever ! Thank you Chobe Marina Lodge so very much ❤️

We had 4 nights at this large but very well run hotel on the banks of the Chobe River. Our room was very spacious with an upper level seating area & tv and it overlooked the river so we saw beautiful sunrises every morning. The huge bed was extremely comfortable and we had an outside terrace area too. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were all buffet style, (the upstairs restaurant never seemed to be available for dinner) but we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts! You can book boat trips and game drives from the company based on the premises and these are quite reasonably priced. We also did a morning trip across the river to Namibia which we found very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and found it excellent value for money.

The stir fry buffet featured on 2 of our 4 nights so a little more variety would have been nice.

Fabulous! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was superb and very clean, with a balcony overlooking the garden which had Warthogs roaming around, just great. Great location on the river and an easy walk to local shops. Felt very safe in Kasane. The whole outside areas were stunning, lush vegetation and great sunsets. Lots of thoughtful touches like getting your bed ready by drawing mosquito nets around.

The place was perfect. Only one down side and it's not property's fault. But over the river there's a camp site which on the Sunday played very very loud rave type music all day long and into the evening on the Sunday, totally spoilt the tranquility.

Great location close to the Chobe National Park Gate. Booked 3 game drives and a Sunset cruise at the activity desk. Highly recommend as we saw so much and these were the best even vs the other parks we visited in South Africa. The hotel is beautifully laid out with a nice river view throughout. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a 2-storey room facing the waterfront. I sat on my terrace reading to relax. Just be careful as you can have visits from warthogs, baboons and monkeys. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool, had a spa treatment, enjoyed their buffet breakfast but preferred the smaller a la carte meals. One evening, my friend and I walked to Tandeuri to have some delicious Indian/Asian food. It was a 7 minute and safe walk over.

No gym and food can be salty. Paths while lit, can be dark early in the morning or late at night. But very safe

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful oasis! The pictures online don’t do it justice. Every single lodge is overlooking the chobe river, we saw animals every day at our front door from warthog, baboons, squirrels, and small antelope which was a wonderful surprise. The lodge itself was was very clean and spacious, had everything we needed for the stay. The buffet food was really good and there’s a different variety every day. For the game drives and river cruise we used the in house company African Odyssey. The river cruise was sooo enjoyable our guide was Chops and he was so knowledgeable, we liked it much more than the Zambezi river cruises from Zimbabwe/Zambia side. Regarding the game drives we had an issue with some drivers going too fast and rushing the animal viewing, spoke to the manager Reggie and he immediately changed our driver and the rest of the game drives were incredible. Mike ended up being the best game driver we’ve ever had across all the safaris, so calm, patient, knowledgeable, knows the best angles for photos, and went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible, you’re lucky if you get him in your game drives!! Overall I highly recommend this place 10/10

Location was great. The room was exceptionally large and good value for the money. The grounds are very nice. The lodge helped set up transportation to and from Victoria Falls for me so that I wouldn't have to do that by myself, and that was great. The staff was friendly, and it was very easy to book activities. Price for activities was reasonable I thought. It was nice being greeted by a warthog outside my room in the mornings.

I wish that it would have better been explained that for meals there was an area that fed many tour groups coming through the area where you would spend one amount for an all-you-can-eat option and that there was a separate area for ordering a la carte. The a la carte option was the far superior option in my opinion both in terms of quality & value, but it took us a couple meals to figure that out ourselves.

I liked the view of the Chobe River. It is superb. I also appreciated that the chef made a gluten-free pizza for me, the spa treatment, and the cleanliness of the facility.

Being in room 33, I could not enjoy the outdoor space on my balcony due to repeated sewage odours. I could go to the swimming pool to read and enjoy the river. The second aspect is the gluten-free food. Your chef made a very good pizza with sorghum dough. I would have loved to have traditional sorghum or millet flatbread for breakfast. What was made available was tasteless.
