The breakfast is amazing, with lots of options (buffet style). The hotel staff is really polite and helpful. The location is great, in front of Beiramar and just a few steps from the BeiraMar shopping mall. The infinite pool is beautiful.
The bedroom is comfortable, with good size and a great view, however, the overall decoration and design style is a little outdated. For the price, they should be updating the rooms often. The pool area looks much bigger in the pictures than it really is. There is actually not enough room for beach chairs close to the pool. In the afternoon it gets busy very fast.

1. I had to pay for gym and it is in mall next to hotel . 2. No complementary water in room . 3. Service in Resturant during dinner was slow and lack of variety and options 4. Breakfast choices are limited and not up to standard of five stars hotel 5.wifi was weak . 6. You can hear noises from near by rooms .

They have placed another company's selling stand in the lobby (some form of time share thing called Surfland) and they have an extremely aggressive sales approach. They have bothered and approached us multiple times and all in all wasted a good 2 hours of our time. I believe that is very unbecoming in the context of a 5-star hotel. Majestic Palace Hotel should do away with this sales stand as soon as possible.

The is NO smart-tv in the room, you have to bring your own apple tv or chrome cast if you want to watch youtube or Netflix.. There is NO microwave in the room! They offered a printed tv channel guide and all channels are mismatched with the TV channels..
