Beautiful premises with lots of greenery in a scenic landscape. Amazing, spacious outdoor bathroom with huge bathtub, quality toiletries. Stylish room interior in traditional Chinese fashion. Nice, though small swimming pool.

No fridge available in the room, poor lighting, a number of things were not working properly (AC dripping, safe not opening etc.). Also, for that price, you'd expect top notch service, which was not the case.

The set up of the place in a nice garden well maintained the great pool. The general atmosphere and the dining place with nice furniture.

Staff nice but impossible to be understood in any other language than Khmer .

The owner staff were professional, courteous, and willing to go above and beyond for us during our 2-day visit. The food was delicious, the shower/tub was a bonus, and the air conditioning was cold My Family loved the location with water view and a big pool. Thank you, Dr. JimK

My partner and I spent a week at Terres Rouges over the Christmas holiday to get out of Phnom Penh & explore Ratanakiri. We were honestly blown away by the lodge - the room and grounds were stunning with a great view of the lake, the food and wine at the restaurant were excellent, and the service was amazing (even more impressive considering the fact that they were likely on a reduced staff due to COVID). The location was also great and the staff were super helpful in providing us a rental motorbike to get out and explore. Highly recommend a stay here!

Honestly, no complaints - we had a very positive experience!

I was looking something natural, traditional and appropriate for meditation. It has that. The gardens are beautiful, with spiritual places and the staff is a real family group. Location is excellent.

Good location on the lake in Balung. Food is good. Staff are nice. Rooms are large and clean. Every day is cleaned.

The staff speaks little English even though it’s a four star hotel. I don’t recommend dining at their restaurant because the food is good but does not match the price. $7 for a very simple fried rice and a way diluted (albeit by milk) latte. You can find better food options elsewhere.

For pandemic period it was excellent ,, we were worried about service as we were the only ones staying at property ,, staff were great , 1 could speak good English , as expected some things not available on menu but over all food and service very good , I felt due to no other customers the price could have been a little more discount ,, nice place , nice South African Merlot!!!!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a beautiful green park, restaurant and rooms are all in wood with wooden furniture decorated nicely in colonial style. Big and nice swimming pool.

The room is poorly soundproofed, you can hear every noise from the neighboring rooms. It means, you can only sleep when your direct neighbors are sleeping and you get awake when one of your neighbors wake up. The shower is outside, but the area was not cleaned at all. The huge bathtub doesn't keep the water. So, only a hand-shower at the bathtub is left. The windows at the bathroom are quite dirty. I also would expect a mini-fridge at a hotel who claims to be 4 stars. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel. Internet comes and goes.
