This is my 1st time staying alone in this dormitory styled room so I am not too sure if it will be safe. I am surprised how organised things around, from the small bed areas, toilet rooms with shower rooms and resto where you can chill. My concern is that the air-conditioning is not too cold if ever you close the blinders of your bed area and they don't have a bidet.

They wanted to not use shoes inside so I wish they would just strictly follow this and just leave the shoes rack very close to the doors so some people won't leave their shoes outside the doorstep instead which is annoying when you step out or where to take off or put on your shoes

Fast internet, friendly staff, TV with sports on IT - a pretty nice place to spend a chill evening next to the pool. We spent the evening working, so we appreciated the quieter atmosphere that night. Walking distance to some great food, and fresh coconuts 1 min from the hostel. For us, it had the perfect location.

The only bad thing there was a Chinese guy, who did not respect quiet hours and was talking very loud during the night, watching videos on his phone without headphones, etc. Did not understand anything that we were telling him. At that point, there was nobody from the staff to ask to talk to him.

Comfy bed with hooks and shelves as well as the standard light and power outlet. Liked that the bathrooms were well equipped with shampoo and soap, and even toothbrushes. Liked all the hooks and shelves making it easy to do everything instead of juggling stuff while trying to brush teeth, put in contacts etc. The sitting area was nice, as was having the on site restaurant. Really nice to have a female dorm. Nice big lockers, easily took my small suitcase. Secure bike parking in the lot next door. Friendly staff. Overall, one of the nicest hostels. Would make #1 if the bed curtains fit the whole bed (see What I didn't like)

The curtains by the bed are too small. Not sure if someone thought it was a safety issue to end at the ladders but this has never been a problem in any other place that has them. Little tricky to find as a really small alley off the big roundabout. Google shows it as a little further along. Not a biggie, but something to watch for if coming by motorbike/car.

We only stayed at the hostel for two nights on our way to Koh Rong and then again on our way back to Phnom Penh. The staff was friendly and the dinner we had there was really nice. We also thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast (avo toast and coffee).

We have stayed at the Onederz in Phnom Penh numerous times and loved our stays there very much. Since Onederz in Phnom Penh is always super clean, we expected the same from SHV. Although I would stay at the SHV Onederz again for one night or so, keep in mind that it can’t quite keep up with the other hostels of the branch (cleanliness/comfort etc).

If you're after a cheap hostel, this is a great one. The staff were really friendly and helpful with booking boats to Koh Rong for the next day. Breakfast was tasty and good value. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable. The lockers were big enough for our large backpaks and there were plugs, shelves and lights by each bed. The comunal seating area and pool were cleab and comfy.

The wifi wasnt fantastic and the location wasnt great. We couldnt find anywhere nice to eat and ended up with a chicken buger. The area was tacky and full of chinese casinos. The port to get the boat from was a 20 min tuk tuk away which we hadn't realised. We thought the boats went from the closest pier but we were told that they had changed so that they now went from the north pier.

Cosy, professional with nice atmosphere, clean and smelling good. It was a sort of a piece of heaven for what was outside in Sihanoukville. BTW, avoid staying in the weird city Sihanoukville is. I spent there just one night before reaching Koh Rong Samloem. There's a nice pool in the main entrance/reception/middle of the building. There's an assorted menu with reasonable prices. Draft and canned beer, soft drinks, etc.

Breakfast is not included, and here is the only issue I've found in it. The hostel's profile shows breakfast available for US$3. Actually, there's no breakfast available. You must choose on the menu that you want and obviously pay for it. They could/must change these info on profile, adding "breakfast available FROM US$3." Explaining the difference: I chose an English breakfast where was included coffee and fruits. Coffee was served in a petite cup and hasn't been enough for me. To drink more coffee you must pay! Nevertheless, overall was ok

Yes, the staff. Were excellent, nice and chilled. Next to the pool. Thank you so much. For making me and my wife. Very happy 🙏🙏🙏

Do not rent a motorbike. Because, there is nowhere at this hotel. To park it., As i personally found out. But, if you get the pass/ grab app. Very cheap to get around.. Also, i recommend Titanic Restaurant for both Khmer and western food. Been established a long time.in Sihanoukville 👍

The staff is very welcoming and very accommodating. I had two nights booking and my plans changed as i wanted to go to koh rong after just one night stay. The let me keep my bag and accommodate me at a later date when I would return from the islands. Really great stay. And pool is good to chill out. Here is a tip.. instead of buying water you can refill from them at cheaper cost.

Nice Pool and common areas. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. I can definitely recommend this hostel if you have to be in Sihanoukville for some reason!

When we paid the Hostel gave us back some older dollar notes (20s and 10s) that we havent been able to use in any store or hostel so far! So if you get dollar notes from them look closely If they are up to cambodian standard... Also this is not the hostels fault but Sihanoukville is one of the most awful cities I have visited. A lot of abandoned half-build houses around the hostel and dirt and trash all over the sidewalks.

This hostel had it all. Everyting was very comfortable and spotless. The bathroom had hot water, free shampoo and body wash, even toothbrushes and a blow drier. The staff was so kind and brought me medicine when I was sick. They also organise your trip to the next destination. The food was also reasonably priced and delicious. The dorms were also very clean, there are lockers and curtains I really enjoyed my stay!
