I liked that it was modern and fresh with good air conditioning. It was close to the airport with shuttle service provided. The breakfast is good with plenty of variety. They also provide a lunch and evening buffet. It was clean and airy with a good atmosphere

I hated that when I arrived at the hotel after a long flight I was told that my room was double booked and had been given to another guest. I was then taken to Ibis which is not the same standard. Very disappointing. And although they were apologetic, it should never have happened. I also didn’t like that I didn’t have a fridge or kettle in my room.

Rooms are very well laid out. My room this time (506) had a loose soap dispenser that came off the wall but I stuck it back up. Will probably come off again. I forgot to tell the staff in my hurry to catch the shuttle. The airport shuttle is wonderful, and the buffet is always good. This is my second stay. I needed a hotel in Casablanca for a one-night layover and booked the Onomo there also. It has matched the standard of Onomo Douala. Thank you management for bringing a consistent vision to your hotel chain. All staff are always friendly and helpful.

Onomo Hotel is located in one of the nicest locations in Douala called Bonanjo. The area of the hotel is safe and easily accessible. There is a gym and a swimmingpool. The room is lovely with a great design. The breakfast is good and the staff is professional and welcoming.

Nothing bad to say this is an excellent hotel to stay in Douala, I surely encourage you to book it for your next trip.

This is a good hotel in a good area with an attractive interior design, very clean and staff who are welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good. It does not take long to get to the airport from the hotel and they have a free airport shuttle. A place I will definitely look to stay in again next time I am in Douala.

Breakfast is ok, there is not much seasoning used for the dishes...so all the food tastes bland/ also the walls in the rooms have water damage or mold damage

The hotel shuttle driver waited for me outside the airport for hours in the middle of the night after my luggage was lost and I had no internet to communicate about my delayed timing–total lifesaver! Staff also arranged for an early check-in on my return & overall the hotel was great.

Great breakfast - and room was very comfortable (price-value balance good!) really didn't expect much from the hotel, but this was a great choice :) Bar was also nice for a drink or two. Front desk. Efficient and kind! Location (near the airport) and the free airport shuttle was very convenient.

Corridor .. painted completely black, feels suffocating. I have stayed at another Onomo and it was the same .. is it the policy ? Waitresses at the bar. Bar was nice, but the staff there definitely need some training.

Breakfast is good. Coffee is not great. Just a little effort would be appreciated to improve this

There is a buffet which is quite good value I guess if you eat a ton. However if you want to eat something a bit smaller the options are not very healthy and quite expensive.

The breakfast was buffet and excellent. Lots to choose from and always kept topped up. The rooms they provided us was perfect for the family. Room service was early and replaced everything we asked for. We had trouble with the safe and they sent someone to fix it within 30 minutes.

It isn't a hotel for children. The pool is very deep and not for children at all. Without any flotation devices, they cannot stand. Plus it is always in the shade and never in the sun on the other side of the building (this is poor design). The buffet dinner and lunch were perfect for adults, but again very few choices for children. If you are expected to pay the 10,000 per child and see them eat just rice the hotel should at least charge 1/2 rates for children. We got one free breakfast per room so paid 20,000 per day which is very expensive for children ($200 for kids breakfast) who eat way less than an adult. We loved the hotel but will seek a child-friendly hotel on our return to Douala.

A lovely place to rest and relax after a busy day. Great food, clean rooms in a safe environment. Appealing decor, slightly funky. All in all, a really nice spot

A wider selection of alcohol - beers and spirits - would've made out stay even better
