Canalta Jurassic

The room was, very clean and spacious, even with 2 queen beds there was lots of room. It also had a desk and small table and chairs. Plus there was a free breakfast, with eggs hashbrowns. Plus a pancake making machine, great for the kids. Plus juice coffee and tea. I was very impressed, with the super staff and the place. Plus there was laundry to wash your clothes, very inexpensive. I would definitely recommend too friends and family, if you're going to Drumheller.

We had an awesome stay at Canalta Jurassic Motel. The room had great A/C,was very clean,quiet and comfortable. Queen beds had a good selection of pillows. Fluffy white towels and a good hot shower in the bathroom with a separate vanity sink and mirror outside the main bathroom. The toiletries supplied in the room were also nice smelling. The included breakfast buffet selections were beyond our expectations w eggs,bacon and waffles too! Coffee & Tea bar was excellent. Something for every taste. Annette was very friendly and helpful in the dining room with a tray and carry out plates so we could eat at our table in the room. Would definately stay again. Our pets approved too!!

Room was very clean. Two doors to room: exterior and interior. Parking right outside room. Easy access from the main road. Kettle and toaster were much appreciated and a proper working fridge/freezer! Good breakfast. Love the indigenous organic toiletries!

Kitchenware was minimal and cookware in need of replacing. No bread or paring/chopping knife. Single use plastic cutlery in the breakfast room and plastic cups in the room. There are other recyclable options (bamboo/paper). Why can't hotels invest in those? Very disappointing. I would've given an excellent rating if those points had been met.

The room was really comfortable and very clean. Everything was taken care of. The location was perfect for someone that does not know the town. The breakfasts were very nice and was easily accessible. Great stay.

Need more handicapped parking spots as I had to make an uphill walk with 2 canes and this was a bit of a struggle for me. The one space you did have was well located but while I was away, it got taken by someone else (and they may have needed it more than me) and this meant that I had to look elsewhere for parking.

We loved the main floor access to the room from parking. We had golf clubs and bikes in our car and it was great not having to lug them through the lobby. Will stay again next year! Breakfast was outstanding!

There was nothing I’d improve upon. Maybe I’d suggest milk for coffee. I only saw cream. That said, I didn’t ask so it might have been available. This did not change my day or experience. It was a great stay!

Decent breakfast, pleasant staff, clean and relatively spacious rooms. Tim Horton's next door, a couple of OK restaurants across the street. Not too much traffic noise.

It was a windy night and unfortunately the roof is metal and created noise that sound like a massive thunderstorm. The staff willingly would have moved us but we stayed put and fortunately the wind died down and we had a quiet night.

The staff were super helpful and polite, the room was well stocked and very clean, complimentary soaps and lotions were nice, coffee provided was nice too.

The bed could have been more comfortable, it felt a little lumpy but otherwise suited our needs, the shower turns in the opposite direction of temperature; not a huge deal as I managed to figure it our quickly after a rather cold shock. Water pressure was great and once the water was warm it was good. A light upon first entering the room would be a nice addition if considered. Overall, I felt for what the room was it could have been a lower rate.

Breakfast was great, staff excellent! Super friendly and helpful. My daughter and I have been wanting to do a mom daughter trip to Alberta for quite awhile and we had an absolute blast. Thank you to everyone. I will definitely be back.

The only thing I wish was that there was a pool. That would have made everything an 11 out of 10.

It suited our family just fine :) The toiletries were very nice and the staff were all excellent - especially the breakfast hostess!

There was a pool at this motel the last time we were here so we were disappointed it’s not there anymore :( The mattresses weren’t very comfortable - even my young adult kids woke up with backaches. But we did really appreciate the availability of firmer pillows :) Thank you!

Very comfortable and clean, fresh room. Great shower. Good range and quality of breakfast food. Although there were a number of young kids staying, we didn't hear any noise from other rooms.

Breakfast area could probably take more tables, although this didn't turn out to be an issue in the end (we were warned it could be).
