Nice motel style room on Cline River, 15mins walk to Abraham Lake. Room had all necessary amenities. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was decent with plenty of hot water. Ate at the one site restaurant which was very busy (Saturday evening on a long public holiday weekend), but staff were clearly working very hard and we got our food a lot quicker than expected.

The floors were cold - we had a pet friendly room, I don't know if the regular rooms had carpets. There was also a sign in the room saying that if there were pet hairs on the bedspread/duvet that we would be charged $200. I was very paranoid then about my dog as she does like to jump on the furniture. Would have helped to know this before as I would have bought separate bedding/blanket to protect the bed.

We had great communication from the property in advance, as we expected to arrive outside normal hours. We actually made it in good time and received a lovely warm welcome at Reception, the staff seemed very pleased to meet me and greeted me by name, very professional. There’s no hiding the fact that the accommodation is motel quality, but it offered everything it promised and the room was very clean and very comfortable. Service in the Restaurant was very friendly and welcoming and the food was great and delivered swiftly. The views from the room (and around the Resort) were wonderful. Pinto Lake is a very short ride and the views across the water early in the morning were magnificent.

Like most motels, the windows could use some modesty screening. There seemed to be a few bits of old equipment laying around in some areas which gave these areas an untidy appearance but it was the end of the season so maybe this will be addressed before next year. Service in the Grocery Store was poor - unhelpful and quite rude. This was only one individual, a large, scruffy guy, so maybe we just lucked out. Everyone else we met was charming.

Great location for ice fields Banff as good for our road trip. Staff knowledgeable and very friendly. Room clean and quiet, good hot shower. Restaurant, gas and store all on site. Nice walking routes from location.

For the restaurant staying open longer for somewhere to socialise with our friends but I do appreciate that it was coming to the end of the season.

Quiet nights rest..

The resort is more geared to the camping part of it.. the hotel part has no flare.. less then basic rooms.. coffee maker had wrong pot and overflowed onto counter.. floors and cleanliness was sub par!! Overpriced for what you get!! Shower was in need of a good clean!!

Good communication from the reception before arrival and the best shower cabin we have met for years.

The organisation of the restaurant was as taken out of Fawlty Towers.

Amazing location, friendly staff, very accommodating. A lot of hikes all around. There is a playground for kids. The Cowboy’s breakfast was very yummy.

This was to be expected of course since the location is the middle of the Rocky Mountains, the wifi was not fantastic and of course there is no reception. Also there was no kettle or microwave in my room, travelling with a baby I needed to warm up her food. Again it probably is available in their suites and I should have thought of that beforehand.

Our room was very cold as I was told that the boiler was not working properly. We were Provided with a space heater and were very comfortable.
