This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at. The owner are so friendly and gave us lots of suggestions on where to eat and little hidden gems areas to visit. The rooms were very clean and updated. Comfortable beds, microwave and a very nice size fridge with a freezer. What most impressed us was the beautiful landscape and grounds. We didn’t just sit in our room they have beautiful areas with picnic tables and lots of lounge chairs. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I would rate this a 15 star out of a 10 if I could

Cute little renovated Motel. Spacious rooms and quiet location. Facilities were clean and quiet. Owners were delightful. Beautiful view.

Please note there are NO places to eat or buy groceries for almost 40 minutes outside this location and everything closes at 7 p.m. Make sure to come prepared with groceries. Beds were clean but are on the smaller side, so if a couple, or you are on the taller side, you may have a challenge getting a restful sleep. Room came with 2 beds and online pricing was reasonable, however when we checked in was advised if the 2nd bed was utilized, we would be charged extra which did not seem right considering how small the beds were to accommodate a couple sleeping together. You have to choose between a poor sleep or a larger Bill.

Tidy, clean, friendly, quiet motel, beautiful location close to beaches, nice grounds and outdoor seating and BBQ areas, great shower.

Kitchenette needed a drawer for utensils... I think renovations might not be complete for one more small kitchen drawer unit to be installed. Improvements being made. Storage of utensils and some kitchen items awkward but doable. Great fridge, stove, microwave. Might do better to have a good pull-out couch in the living area as the third double bed, but I suspect that will come as afforded.

The owner of the hotel, a couple, were very welcoming and very nice. They upgraded for a better room for NO-extra charge, even we didn't ask for it :-)... My kiddos were jumping from joy to have 2 big rooms and a cute patio to play around... They made our day... Rooms are roomy, clean and beds are comfy, the kitchenette has more than any othere motels... and it's located in a very quiet area... surrounded by nature and mountains... Thanks so much :-)

Adorable little location, very well kept. By motel standards this is definitely one of the best.

Neighbours were playing music early in the morning. (6:30 a.m) & we could hear a lot of that & what they were saying. No fault of the facility, but the brick walls don’t block sound very well

The location was great. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and comfortable.

Wish there had been a place to get food. The only store closed very early and all that was available after 5:00pm was expensive snacks in hotel office.

Location was perfect, right off the ferry, arriving late at night. A great place to go for a late night stroll, after driving all day. Super friendly staff.

The temperature control part of the tap kept falling off during use. everything else was great.

What a clean & beautifully maintained motel! We loved the outdoor shared space that included a BBQ and covered area. So close to the ferry and the staff were all so friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. Thank you so much!

The kitchen was a very good place to cook as it had all the items you needed to prepare a good meal. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. I am glad I spent two nights here as it is in easy reach of Nakusp.

Everything was great except a few extra blankets would be a good addition. There wasn’t anything to really dislike.

A lovely and peaceful spot with pretty gardens and deck chairs overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the cooking facilities in our room and the BBQs and picnic tables outside. The rooms were very clean and well stocked.

Be aware that there are no restaurants or grocery stores and no beer or other alcohol in this small town.
