This motel is truly above and beyond. Everything is new and clean. Instead of thin blankets there was a wonderful, comfy quilt on the bed. And the biggest surprise of all was the brand new, full sized refrigirator! This was not a room with a kitchenette, and yet there was this 'fridge. It was a wionderful surprise for us since we had a cooler full of food, including a whole frozen Brisket which we were hoping to get home while it was still frozen. Thanks to the large freezer in that refrigerator, we did!

I really can't think of thing I didn't like. The motel was easy to find, it was quiet and peacful, the room was clean and comfortable, with everythimg we needed and more.

We stayed for 4 nights, and other family members also stayed for 3 nights.( in their own accommodations) Our bed was very comfortable and we had an adjoining bedroom ( the bed in there wasn't so comfortable but was ok) The kitchenette was great to have and the staff were very friendly. It was very quiet, picnic tables outside to have a snack, cool drink or even eat a meal. Dairy Queen and A& W within walking distance. Central location, clean and free parking available. We have stayed in other locations in GF and this was the best one so far. We will be back.

There was a bit of mold in the tiles around the tub which could be easily removed with a little bit of bleach, and there could have been more accessible plugs for charging cell phones etc. ( Most places have lamps with charging outlets on the base) We were very pleased with everything else. .

Great location , a very simple motel which is what we expected but had everything we needed with friendly staff on arrival and checkout. No breakfast but within walking distance of lots of food outlets. Free parking outside your room was a bonus too. We'd definitely stay again but would remember to put the do not disturb sign on the door before going to bed as we had a lady trying to get in to clean our room as 8am while we were still in bed!

Super friendly staff! Early check-in. Really close to town, and a short walk to a nice pub for dinner. Very, very clean, real mugs, a keurig machine, microwave, and full fridge!

Was noisy outside, so sound-proofing could be improved.

I loved the layout in the room which included a microwave, coffee machine and full fridge. The air conditioner was quiet and efficient and the pillows and bed were excellent.

climbing a long flight of stairs might be a challenge for some people.

Very friendly staff clean room with all amenities, good TV channel selection and WiFi. New a/c and fridge. The only improvement I might suggest is better bars of soap they are the size of a loonie and don’t duds up very well

Clean room, strong hot shower, large quiet fridge, comfy bed. Laminate flooring on ground floor. Just what I needed after 12 hours on the road

I tried the air conditioner because I like a cold room. But it was very noisy. So I opened the window instead.

The room was updated and furnished very well for its age. The room was first floor outside room access so very easy to get bags into room.

Paid for queen bed but it appeared to be a double instead. That is why I dropped rating. Otherwise very good.

The room was very clean , the bed was comfortable , it was quiet and was able to have a good nights sleep, as I am a light sleeper.

Needing a good night’s sleep on our way home to Ontario, we were able to get the last room available and we were absolutely delighted with the Western Traveller Motel. The room was large, very clean, perfectly appointed and the bonus was the jacuzzi tub, which we used twice. I would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely come back. This was one of the best hotels rooms we’ve had in a long time, and best on our 3 week journey, including 4 star hotels we stayed at. Wonderful stay.
