Our room in the older section of the hotel was spacious, deep storage closet, comfortable bed, robes provided for use walking to/from the pools, and my favourite - a wonderful overhead fan that was better than many hotels' air conditioning. Both in-house restaurants we ate at were fine. The historic lakefront location is probably the biggest attraction and provided wonderful vistas of the lake.

Very cramped and confusing drive in area when registering, little room to park when multiple vehicles arrived at once. Many stalls blocked with pylons for valet service. Valet person offered to give assistance to my wife with luggage, then disappeared. Fairly long walk from parking lot in rear of hotel without IMO enough signage indicating where the back entrance was. Indoor signage to exit to parking lot could have been better, as well, when checking out with our baggage. Being taller people, we found the toilet in our bathroom very low to the ground. Toilet handle did not work at first but we monkeyed with it and got it working again. With a smoother check in parking experience and now having knowledge of parking lot access, we would certainly stay here again.

The surrounding area is beautiful

The rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. I was originally booked into the heritage building and wanted a newer room so I paid an extra $60 per night for a room upgrade and my room looked very outdated and like they had been partied in for many years. When we woke up we found out that the coffee machine didnt work, Soundproofing would be a good upgrade as the noise from the pool is amplified to the rooms that are are facing it and you wont be able to sleep in as the noise starts early in the morning. Not a good value for the money we had to spend to stay there. I would suggest booking a room in the east tower if you have a chance and booking ahead of time.

Had a great stay here, and the hotel took care of us when we arrived. The lady who checked us in was amazing and got us into a room with an amazing view. She was a rock star and made us happy. High 5's were in order here. We had many other wonderful interactions with other staff, including the valet and restaurant/lounge. Then my son had an accident on the first night, and I requested new bedding. I had to have a long, drawn-out explanation in the hallway to explain to the staff member exactly why I needed the cot bed changed. She was not happy that she had to get me new sheets, I guess, and it felt like I got a bit of attitude. She returned and gave me the new bedding, and I gladly changed it myself. This made my son quite embarrassed that I had to explain the situation with her to get the new bedding. Should be a no questions asked thing. 2nd bad interaction was in the buffet breakfast in the morning. My wife returned to the table quite unhappy after the eggs ran out, and she tried to point it out to a restaurant attendant. The attendant rudly responded to her question with, "What do you think I am about to do?" My wife was put off by this comment, and it ruined the morning. After all, we are the guests and not mind readers. If you're having a bad day, put your bad attitude in check and leave it at the door. The rest of the visit was great. We have been to Harrison Hot Springs Reort many times and enjoy the area very much. I just think the next hot spring visit will be either Ainsworth, Radium, or Halcyon next time.

A couple grumpy rude staff members. The rest were amazing.

Front Desk staff were very helpful! Everyone had great attitudes (genuine great attitudes even tho busy) and I think, it was the manager (lovely red hair) that was willing to accommodate our requests as part 1 of 3 honeymoon trips . :) Amazed there were vegan options for us in hotel lounge and restaurants! Bonus points for that! Pools were lovely!

Main bathroom on first floor, that I'm sure non guests use as well regardless of allowed or not, was dirty. I think people from the lake just come in to use it as they like. Might want to put double duty on that particular floor washroom or have clear signage for guests only. Other than that - great time!

Although the hotel was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded at all, even in the pools. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our interactions with them. Due to availability, we (two adults) ended up in a family room in the Heritage Building, which had two bedrooms - one queen bed and two twin beds. I didn't realize that the Heritage Building doesn't have AC, so we were worried that we'd be too warm, but the hotel provided fans for the room in addition to the ceiling fans and we were comfortable despite the hot temperatures outside. The pools are awesome, of course! With 5 to choose from, we found that each had a different temperature and we could move between them easily. We also appreciated that there is an adult only pool and that the rest of the pools are adult only after 10 PM. Nothing against kids. This seems to be a great place for families! Although there were some adults being rowdy, we were able to easily move away from them. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

Not having AC was a bummer, but we survived! The indoor pool had a lot of kids/tweens who were seemingly unsupervised and were making a lot of noise and rough housing. Wished there were someone monitoring that as there is a big sign saying it's meant to be a quiet area. Also, there was one party of particularly loud women (bachelorette party?) that were quite drunk and loud. They weren't causing harm to anyone, but it somewhat ruined the relaxation aspect of the pools. At least it was good people watching!

The buffet breakfast was incredible but I will say for someone who doesn’t eat multiple plates of food, it was overpriced and for no service a tip was still expected. The pools were amazing and I was very happy that I spent the money to finally stay here and got to use them.

I felt mostly everything to do with this hotel was overpriced. Unfortunately it seems that most things are now, but for what I got out of the experience I would say slightly lowered prices would be more fair.

Hot spring pools and hot tub are always a hit with our family. We really enjoyed our time lounging at the pools. Location is great - a short drive from the lower mainland; the lake is right across for some scenic strolling and kite flying; plenty of dining options within walking distance.

Limited dining options within the hotel; no room service available currently. The front desk staff graciously gave us a complimentary upgrade to lake view due to a mix-up with my name on the booking, but our room was clearly not cleaned thoroughly after the last occupants. Furthermore there is no daily housekeeping service at the moment.

The entire resort... lakeside setting, garden walks, inside and outside hot springs, the hotel itself...is first class. Lots of different restaurants on site and down the street. Staff were great, once we got past the first guy we worked with at the front desk, who seemed to take pleasure in putting us in the smallest, darkest room he had. When we spoke to the manager to protest, she apologized and said we were assigned that room through Booking.com, at a bottom price, and would need to upgrade. We happily agreed to upgrade, and she gave us a wonderful room with a view of the lake. No charge! We will definitely return!

The location was fantastic. it was nice to have the beach right across the street, so easy to go for a swim or paddle boarding. The 5 pools were also amazing, it was more enjoyable after 10pm as it was adults only and it was a cooler temperature outside

we stayed in the middle of a heatwave (record temps) and there was no air conditioning in the room, so it was incredibly hot even with the use of fans. would not of been an issue at a cooler time of year, so aside from being uncomfortable at night, the stay was great overall
