We stayed a night with my wife and mother in the cabin. We really did not expect it to be so extraordinary. The views are stunning from the cabin, and despite the lack of electricity in cabin, everything has been thoughtfully arranged / planned by the host. The hot meal was awesome , and we had all the supplied to prepare a great breakfast. This place is certainly a unique experience, loved every moment of our brief stay.

Mosquitos in the outroom , but not that much can be done really about that and the host left some potent bug spray to deal w/ that tool.

I can't possibly say enough great things about this place. What a perfect little get-a-way and so easy to access from the highway. The night's stay in the cozy cabin included a great hot dinner waiting for us on the stove when we arrived, along with lots of food for our choosing for breakfast. Kristi was so welcoming and happy to share her little slice of paradise with us. I wish we could have stayed longer. Totally off the grid and a great place to just chill. Absolutely loved it and will definitely go back.

The cute cabin was just perfect get-a-way with wood burning stove, lovely loft with comfortable bed, and the most amazing dinner and breakfast provided to us. We will be back and stay for longer.

It would be great if there were some curtains in loft upstairs to block out the light when you are trying to sleep (in the summer it is light out for almost 20 hours per day)

The host was very thoughtful to have dinner ready in the fridge (a very tasty Clam Chowder)and had kept a small handwritten note at the entrance even though we reached at 11 pm after that stressful pitch dark drive thru Cassiar highway from Skagway. That was very relieving and we were hungry enough to gobble it up.

The beautiful views, the quiet and beautiful accommodations and pet friendly. Kristi is a superb host with providing a delicius hot supper when we got there. All the extra touches are very thoughtful. She goes that extra mile to ensure that her guests have all they need. She even made a delicious birthday cake for my daughter when she found out. Cooking over an open fire pit and the luxury of an open outdoor HOT shower were you can enjoy the scenery. The cabin has a propane stove and fridge with a kitchen sink with running water and a wood stove when needed. Lots of firewood and kindling available and if you arrive late, a fire is usually already started for you if cooler out. I would highly recommend staying here and will again as often as we can. I can honestly say there was nothing I did not like.

Excellent location right off the highway with a beautiful view of a lake. The chalet was very comfortable and cozy, with a fire already lit by the owner when I walked in. She also brought me a delicious warm, homemade dinner and the kitchen was stocked with everything I would need to make myself breakfast in the morning. It was very clean and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back!

Loved the scenery, the place itself and the peace and quiet. Having a hot meal at the end of a long day of traveling is a welcome surprise. Our host was amazing..

This is not the first time I've rented and it won't be the last. I loved everything about it.

I really liked the cabin, I wish I had more confidence to try the shower (might have to come back another time just for that missed experience!). Thank you again for the dinner!

We had a diffcult time with the fold out couch

We felt like we were walking into a postcard when we arrived at the majestic spot where the cabin is situated, overlooking the lake. It is so quiet and beautiful. It was so sweet to have a handwritten note to welcome us and the moose stew to warm on the stove was the most delightful supper after a long day of travelling. We had a wonderful evening, using the fire pit to have a campfire and watch the stars. Everything is so wonderfully detailed about this place, it is clearly cared for and very relaxing. Its worth going out of your way for.

We wished we would have booked more time there. We wanted to use the canoe to get out on the pristine lake, but could not due to travel time constraints.

Amazing....no other words... exceeded my expectations. The dinner was fantastic, the view was incredible, the shower was even better and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for the memorable stay!
