Location excellent a few minutes off the trans Canada highway on Main Street, easy access with commercial services close by. The room although dated and small provided a quiet sleep, excellent shower pressure, a fridge and drive up to your room parking, there were patio chairs available to sit outside your room. For a very popular location in prime time the motel was peaceful

The price for this older motel with very little in the way of updates is overpriced, but it is prime time and with few other choices it is what it is

Not fancy but everything was good - comfortable bed, nice layout, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the keurig coffee and bottled water provided. Loved the pines motel logo cups in room - nice touch!

Not a big issue but my partner is a tea drinker so a bit of tea would be nice (keurig pod or just a tea bag - water can be boiled in microwave).

A cosy, lovely small-town motel. Very well maintained, clean and tidy. We particularly liked the coffee machine and the comfy beds. Bonus points for extra coffee for free!

A tiny bit noisy due to the passing trains (or trucks?) that honk a few times throughout the night. Also not the most interesting location. Serves well as a one night stop tho!

Location was great, within walking distance of everything. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our parking space was right in front of our door. Everything was very clean. Spacious bathroom.

We had a problem turning on bedside lamp. Cable TV was a little iffy. Bathtub was a little high for us to get into the shower easily.

Walked into the office to check in and was greeted by the calmest huskie - adorbs! You can see their is a lot of pride in their establishment! Perfect location to walk to restaurants & ice cream shop! Clean clean clean! Cute motel toiletries.

The one bed was on wheels, travelled a little while asleep but surprisingly comfy.

Old school vintage motel that is well kept, nicely updated, inexpensive and exceptionally clean with a very comfy bed. As a bonus we found d our favourite Thai restaurant only a few minutes walk from the motel. Groceries and liquor store are also only a few minutes walk. We will make this our new stop on our annual trip to the coast.

It was easy to find. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. i find many motels and hotels noisy. I liked the feel of the place generally and would stay again.

it would have been great to have a kettle in the room. It only had a keurig with a couple of pods

Beyond happy with my stay! Super clean, cozy room. Exactly what I was hoping for but couldn't believe I would get for such a great price! Expectations exceeded! The people working here clearly take pride in their establishment and are so friendly and accommodating!! I'll go out of my way to stay here again.

Nice ,clean, older motel. Close to Hwy 1, but a couple of blocks away which makes it very quiet location. Talked to Tracy (owner) directly a couple of times due to fires that blocked hwy 1 on the way there. She was excellent to deal with, and very accommodating about our arrival time.

Perfect location for travelling through. Since I last stayed at Pines Motel it has been updated and I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and well appointed. Was more than I expected. Is not near beach but is conveniently located to access beach and plenty of room, table and chairs and storage for longer stay. Would highly recommend.
