I had a great experience here. Both ladies I spoke with at reception were cheerful and helpful, which is a nice way to start any vacation :) It's a nice historic building with all the creaks and quirks that come with it, but rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - mine even had a high cathedral ceiling and gorgeous view of the docks to wake up to. I also really appreciated the communal kitchen. It was quite large and well equipped with cooking utensils, a sink, large fridge and oven, making dinner time much easier and cheaper (plus, who doesn't want to cook while looking out the window at the harbour?). Location is also pretty unbeatable as it was right at the entrance to town and an easy walk to most places, all for a very affordable price.
Nothing, everything was great.

We stayed here on the off-season in late October. We have stayed in Ukee/Tofino about a dozen times at different places, from camping to airbnbs to local hotel chains and smaller local Inns. We quite enjoyed our stay at Princess Lodge. The front desk was friendly and professional. We received a complimentary upgrade to a loft room! It was greatly appreciated, so roomy and comfortable. Decent sheets and comfortable mattresses. The pillows did not have much support, but I brought my own memory support pillow. It's really nice shower pressure! Nicely renovated bathroom and room in general. The high-pitched wooden ceiling is beautiful The location is nice with a view of the marina and inlet. It has a communal kitchen but we didn't use it. I was very happy to see signs with strict quiet time rules starting at 10 pm. Although i could hear our neighbor snooring loudly Saturday morning, lol . Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it.

The reception staff were first class and very helpful. The location of the property is perfect, right on the harbour. There are laundry washer and dryer available on site with washing powder available in reception. There is a very good restaurant "Howlers" within a minute walk. Their seafood tsunami is a must!
The only negative for our stay was the room layout in as much as the wash hand basin is in the main room and not the bathroom. If anyone uses the bathroom during the night, they need to wash their hands, which involves making a noise and probably waking up your partner.

the view from the room was beautiful - the size of the room was great and extremely clean the shower was perfect too
there should be a towel bar near the sink to hold up a hand towel for washing hands rooms not very sound proof - could hear others having a large get together in another room, and small children running above us. These people were on vacation too - so not complaining about them, just a lack of sound proofing.

It was a nice and quiet location. We had a room facing the water and it was beautiful during sunset and sunrise. It was too chilly to appreciate the balcony, but it's a nice little addition to have. I really appreciate the staff! They were all so nice and friendly. One employee we met on Sunday morning helped us get our deposit when the office was closed, allowing us to get back on the road earlier. He was very helpful and took the time out to call a few employees to find out how to get into the office. We will definitely be staying there again!
My only issue was the heating. When we got in the heat was turned off so the entire place was freezing. It took almost the entire night for the place to get warm. Next day it was nice and cozy.

Very clean room and bathroom, very friendly staff, great location and view, very comfortable beds, good price, best shower ever in a hotel, TV, fridge and coffee maker.
The rooms are a bit outdated, although that did not bother us, as it was so clean. The only thing we'll do differently in future, is to ask for an upstairs room, as the guests above us were a bit noisy (there was a young child running around quite a lot!) but they were quiet after 10 pm. (There is a 'no noise after 10 pm' policy)

The lodge was well-situated for our purposes. The room was comfortable. The communication (both email and message) from the staff before arrival was exceptional. Staff at booking-in were welcoming, friendly and extremely informative about the area, place to visit and choices of restaurants. We were apprehensive about booking a pet-friendly room (it was the only one available) but the room was perfectly clean with no pet traces at all. Rooms are not serviced but that suited us. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Loved the location, loved how quiet it was very quaint and charming. The room was very nice, clean the first night my mom noticed the sheets were a bit dirty they resolved this right away and changed the sheets right away. Loved how it had a little balcony to sit outside the view was so beautiful. It was walking distance to everything in town. I would definitely stay here again!!

We faced the water, which was one of the reasons for choosing this place. It was a perfect location for exploring the community and surrounding area.
There was confusion about the fireplace. I thought is was gas, but it was a wood fire and you had to purchase one of those fire logs from the front desk to have a fire. We never bothered, but next time might opt for a room without the fireplace.

We had a corner room with an amazing view of the boats in the marina. We had plenty of room and we had no issues with adding our dog to the room as we decided last minute to bring her along. They were polite and very helpful.
The hotel is older but kept clean. There was nothing we did not like. The only thing I could say is that with it being an older hotel sound travels through the walls easier, but we had no issues.
