The room was more than I had bargained for, considering the excellent price. I requested a single double bed and got one! Close to decent dining, gas station and coffee shop. Very comfortable and I received immediate help when I couldn't manage the AC. Staff directed me to an excellent restaurant in close proximity, really good food and service and open on Canada Day weekend.

Can't ask for much more. Would readily stay there again if going through Portage La Prairie. There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The Motel operator accomodated my request for 2 queen beds at no extra cost and was very happy to help me with heating element in case the room wasn't warm enough. It was perfectly warm when we returned from dinner and there was no need for the heater. Thank you!

There was a little bit of a stale smell when we first entered the unit, but it quickly became undetectable - maybe putting in a room deodorizer prior to the renter coming could help a little? The room was really quaint with one bed across from the other with the washroom in the middle corner. Really nice and unique setup!

great location kind of adorable room was comfortable and set up well with the larger fridge and microwave. Bathroom was recently renovated so looked good slept really well - which was amazing

In bathroom suggest putting the fan on a different circuit than the light so you can turn off the light but still keep the fan on. Suggest putting in laminate flooring and should totally get rid of the ratty chair in the room (#31) - not sure why it is even there - it is stained and super ugly and no one is going to sit in it cause it’s gross and it’s taking up valuable room beside the bed which would be better served with a bedside table and lamp instead.

I just finished a cross country drive and this was my favourite motel that I stayed at! Compared to other motels it was updated and very clean. The bathroom looks newly renovated. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a fridge and cable TV. There were very secure locks on the door which I appreciated as a solo traveler. The person at the front desk was very nice as well.

The only problem that I had was that the bathroom fan was very loud.

The location is great, right beside the highway with all shopping within 2 minutes (Tim Hortons, McDonald's, Canadian Tire, car wash/laundromat, etc.) It's very quiet considering where it's located. The room was clean and comfortable. The fridge, microwave and coffee maker all worked. I'll definitely stay again 😄.

I ran into a trouble of double paying for my room for one night. But the lady at the reception was very nice to figure it all out with me and in the end refunding what I over paid for. Gotta admit there was definitely language barrier during the whole time but it all ended up well for both sides as we were both patient with each other. Very nice lady and respectful.

This Motel is located just a short walk from downtown Creston, very central. The room was clean and spacious, and the owners were just lovely checking us in with local recommendations. Although on the main road, the rooms are quiet and we had a great stay.

The receptionist was a gentle kind woman who gave me option of beds. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were three power strips for our use. Shops and restaurants are nearby.

The trains start going through town about 4:30 AM and honk their warning.

Located along the route I was biking. Easy to find. Very simple check in process. No hassle bringing my bike into the room.

Shower head had a leak which sprayed water over the curtain into the rest of the bathroom. Solved by tying a face cloth round the leak.

The property was clean and obviously remodeled. The price was great.

Only two things gave us sorrow. 1. There was no plug in the bathroom. 2. The A/C was beyond our control. There was no thermostat. All units were obviously centrally controlled.
