Kennedy House

It’s a cute,classic,they keep it clean and add modern touch(elevator)to the place. Downstairs was a spacious bar&restaurant, you can drink and don’t have to drive.Located in the middle of water street(walking street)with a variety of shops, restaurants&bars, peers. I love this place. You can see the peers from the hotel windows in the front.

In the middle of the night I heard some loud noise that creeped me out a couple times. I thought somebody tried to open my doors but it wasn’t. I figured out later about 3am in my room that it might be the old building’s structure(built in 1818) are moving due to the temperature differentiate between day and night cause the wood or metal structure to move. This is not a big deal for me, I found it’s fascinated.

The man that greeted me was so nice and carried in my 6 bags strapped all across him. I appreciate that there is an elevator bc sometimes my R knee hurts to go up stairs. The sheets were so soft and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby after driving 2 days to get there. My cousin and I ate dinner there 2 nights in a row. The waters and waitress were so nice and friendly. The mussels were fabulous. I usually don't like those, but they were very tender not rubbery like most mussels I have had. The other food we had there was great as well. Great stay. I will come back someday and stay here to go on a whale tour which start in July. Thanks so much. Dede

Beautiful, historic seaside mansion with all updated, modern amenities in a maritime setting made for an enjoyable and exciting stay. The proprietor upgraded our room free of charge since our original reserved accommodation was damaged by a strong, winter storm. We were immediately notified that the change would need to be made, and we were quickly made at ease. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There was a lot of work being done to the restaurant and bar area and the obvious upgrades will provide for a full-service good time.

Our room,suite,was fabulous including a wing chair for my husband's back. Funny I asked by message if any rooms had chairs and was told no. Happy surprise.

Minor thing, at breakfast buffet, no eggs,chef was getting more. We sat and had coffee,toast etc waiting on eggs. After a fair amount of time, I got up to check. Eggs were in charging dish. Waite staff should have told us. Otherwise staff helpful and friendly. Also bed pillows were huge and hard. One pillow on bed should be softer

What a quaint spot in a great location. Parking was on the street, free and easy to find. No air conditioning in the room but they had a big fan that made the temperature super comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Housekeeping forgot to clean the toilet before we arrived but once we notified the staff it was cleaned within five minutes. Things happen and they were so quick to resolve the issue.

It is a beautiful old house, very well situated. The room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Drop box for keys by the front door made checkout very simple.

The front door was locked when we arrived (although check in time was mentioned in confirmatoin e-mail) which was stressful for half a minute. Our only real complaint: the thinest toilet paper ever encountered.

The friendless of staff and management. Fresh towels were delivered every morning with bathroom supplies. The food was delicious especially the fish. The closeness of getting to the Passamaquoddy lodge.

The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was excellent!

We tried dinner and were disappointed. Manager stepped in and adjusted mistake on bill, but to be fair our waiter was delightful but very new on the job. Food was average.

Nice old inn. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely patio where we had a tasty dinner…. The best burger ever with fries. Excellent location in town where you can walk to lovely shops. Beautiful water view from room.

Room could be updated but comfortable.

Everything was amazing. Staff top notch. The owner was extremely friendly . Izzy our bartender was one of the best hospitality staff we've ever met. Hotel was clean ,restaurant was amazing . Thanks so much for the great night
