Absolutely LOVED the size of the Queen Suite with a separate room with 2 queen beds, a living area with a pull out couch and 2 club chairs, and a small kitchenette. Excellent setup for a family with a young child and older child (earlier bedtime for the youngest). Kids had a great time in the pool. Grounds were very well kept! I even saw housekeeping dusting the light shades of the sconces in the hallway! Only one thing about our stay that would have made it even better would have been a lower price. I feel the price I paid for a Sunday night was overpriced, but other than that, everything was great.

As the (tired) saying goes: Location, location, location ...right off the TransCanada Highway, but not noticeable within the hotel; large & well appointed room with power-receptacle strategically located throughout and good lighting in the evening.

like practically all other sleeping facilities in North America....the lighting leaves a lot to be desired in the morning (who needs ambiance, when you're packing your stuff...lol). Anything else I may not have liked is outside the control of the hotel, thus no need to raise it here.

The hotel was nice and clean - had the best shower there after travelling for a few days! We had read reviews about the breakfast and were NOT disappointed! So much variety and everything was delicious. Perfect before a long drive. The pool was nice for our young child as well.

There were dogs on our floor and two dogs were out in the hallway barking at each other for a while. Not the hotel's fault, but just keep in mind that it's a pet friendly hotel!

The breakfast was excellent, pretty much anything you could want for your breakfast meal, and, the staff were friendly and efficient, making sure all the selections were topped up as needed. The breakfast room itself was clean, bright, and a pleasing decor. We have stayed at this location before and forgot our bathing suits this time, but in the past have enjoyed using the pool as well. Our go to place in Woodstock.

Excellent variety at the hot buffet breakfast (included in the room price), everything kept stocked & clean, & good seating. Mattresses, pillows, bedclothes all excellent. Immaculately clea & adequately spacious room, with an abundance of counter-surface area in both main room & bathroom. Well-stocked Keurig coffee facility in room. Enthusiastic & happy staff at main desk. Close parking. Everything worked, nothing was lacking (unless you count absence of on-site restaurant, but a couple of fine spots downtown, 3 & a half km distant).

No complaints or inconveniences.

A decent restaurant closer to the hotel or in-house would be a crowning achievement. There are place further into town, but, for one reason or another, the top choices were closed the day/evening of our stay. Wound up in a tavern with good food (for a tavern).

The breakfast was very good and varied, including real waffles. The breakfast facility was one of the best I’ve seen. The room was very clean and decently furnished. The mattresses were very comfortable. No bedspreads on the beds. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is a “little” dated in things such as carpeted floors and tub/shower combo instead of the current walk in shower facilities. We had a dog with us but we’re put on a third floor where most pet friendly hotels use the first floor for guests with pets. The price was high given the location in a small town with few restaurant or entertainment venues.

The Woodstock Best Western is well run, well staffed with helpful knowledgeable people and it is the only hotel in the area offering quality lodging at a reasonable price.

If I was to stay several days in this hotel, I would tire of the same breakfast menu items every day (even though breakfast is complimentary.)

We requested a playpen and it was very clean. Comfortable mattress, pillows and bedding. We requested additional towel and sundries as we were a group of 4 with a baby and we were accommodated.

Kitchen area was not stocked with anything. Paper plates and cutlery would have been appreciated.

although we were told their breakfast was not going to have so many varieties if compare to their hotel in Saint John since their hotel in Woodstock is smaller, it turned out the breakfast was the same means it was really good and they actually gave us even more options to choose from. So far I would say you'd never be wrong choosing these hotels in any city
