The hotel was extremely clean, the front desk attendant was extremely nice, the room was very lovely! We stayed in a King suite which was perfect for our needs. The couch was great, you can relax without having to lie on the bed. We enjoyed the big shower and the water pressure was unreal! Our room included a mini fridge and microwave. And of course the included breakfast is a great bonus!

The pillows are WAY too soft!! The bed was very comfortable but if you have any back issues, it's too soft. The hotel has a pool, therefore the whole hotel smells like a pool (not in the room). And with pools come a lot of kids, who drip water in the elevators. We did not have a problem with noise, but it's a real possibility if there are a lot of families with kids.

We stayed for the pool and slide. It was great that breakfast was served, it was a reason we stayed there as well. The only issue was that it was a busy weekend and you ran out of milk for cereal. The staff were super friendly, we were offered an extra hour (late checkout) so that our little guy could get in one last swim before leaving. We had a great time. I did turn off the heat/air unit in the room as I found it too loud to sleep. The others in my family were fine with it so it may be based on if you are a light sleeper or not.

The air unit was loud. You ran out of milk. All very minor things. We wouldn't let that keep us away.

We both thought the cleanliness of the room, and all of the hotel, was beyond reproach. The room and the entryway as well as the breakfast area was spacious and welcoming. The breakfast was more than we expected and a very impressive way to say 'thank you' to guests. We didn't use the pool but we could see many who were enjoying it.

We both agreed two chairs and a small table would improve the room. It is awkward to sit on the bed to enjoy a tea or glass of wine. And could be messy on white bedding.

From the moment we arrived Shelly Lynn was our wonderful introduction to Newfoundland and the folks of the province. What a remarkable lady, you are fortunate to have someone of her caliber on your staff. The exercise room was a standout, roomy with good equipment and a fabulous mural. The breakfasts were great, good variety and a clean dining area. Our room was great, no complaints.

The breakfast was great. A great choice of food. The room was spacious .

Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. By whom, I do not know. It wasn't me! It appears to have been through Booking.com that the error was made. They took some time to work out a solution before giving me another room to stay in. the hotel don't know why the resservation was cancelled either.

Feels welcoming when you walk in.

I took my granddaughter there for her Birthday, as she loves the slide n pool. There were a bunch of kids there for a party, maybe 13 year olds, doing belly flops in the pool n not paying attention to the younger kids. One almost landed on my granddaughter. The pool is not big enough to be at that. The father wasn't even paying to his kid n his friends.

Location was good and the room was lovely

Breakfast was mediocre. Carton eggs aren’t the tastiest, no bacon and the coffee was like burnt oil. Fruit seemed to be all gone and not replaced. We paid in cash on the way out and no one advised us our credit card would be charged $280 and not to expect it to be reversed for 5-10 days!!

The pool was amazing, the kids loved the water slide! The rooms were neat and tidy and the staff were super friendly.

Breakfast was great but seemed disorganized, there was no designated start and finish so you ended up walking all over the place to get your plate, cutlery etc. The food tasted great though.

The room was comfortable . The breakfast was great. We didn't use the pool. It was great to have access to laundry to be able to clean our clothes while we were staying in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and were ready to meet any needs we had.

Breakfast was below average and boring -No protein options for non-pork eaters. Pool quite small and crowded. Hair conditioner is always on the way out when I stay. Housekeeping now only cleans room once every two days.
