I loved everything about our stay at the Farmhouse B&B. From my telephone conversation with Lynne prior to our stay, to being greeted by Rod the evening of our arrival. The conversation with all the guests at breakfast time initiated by Lynne. Her warm welcoming smile, the pride and care given was evident with every little detail. Sharing the procedure of making her homemade yogurt & granola to Rod making us a personal fratada and his homemade molasses bread (yummy-his Grandmother’s recipe). Very clean, beds were comfortable and great food, what more could one ask for 😊 Both Rod and Lynne were more than happy to answer any question or give recommendations and directions for “things to do”. Unfortunately for us, our stay was to short, only overnight and an early breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at The Farmhouse, you won’t regret it. In Rod and Lynne’s spare time (HA HA) they should have classes to teach anyone considering running a Bed & Breakfast. Thank you Rod and Lynne!

Hmmmmm, can’t think of anything. Well, maybe, …. the stay was not long enough

This is a charming B&B in a central location of a small town which is very convenient to a number of tourist attractions. It is an older but perfectly maintained home with interesting furnishings, wall hangings, and lovely gardens to enjoy! The host and hostess are welcoming, full of information about the area, and made us feel very much at home.

We did not like the fact that we could not stay longer! We had a ferry to catch the next day, so had to be off, but we will return on the next trip to enjoy all the local attractions which we missed.

Didn’t get breakfast as my flights were all cancelled and changed so I had to leave before 8 am. Bed was great, loved the thick down comforter. Room was clean with all amenities. Owners were lovely.

Accommodating an earlier breakfast would have been nice. Had I known I would have to leave so early before I booked I likely would have just stayed at a hotel.

Lynn and Rod went above and beyond. They gave us the most amazing, personable experience and their breakfast is amazing. Our rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell them really love what they do! Their location may not be in town but it is perfectly in the middle of wineries, sightseeing, and beautiful nature parks, with a great bistro right down the road for an amazing dinner experience.

The breakfasts were fine dining experiences. Our room, the North Mountain room, was spacious, comfortable, and suited us perfectly. Lynn and Rod were very friendly hosts and we were happy to have met them. My wife and I agree that after travelling throughout Canada, the US, and Europe, this was the best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed at. We hope to return.

Not a thing!

Comfortable stay in the village of Canning. Well-situated for visiting Hall's Harbor, Cape Split, and other area attractions. Lynn and Rod provide excellent information about the area, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are modernized, with fully updated bathrooms. Lynn's breakfasts are delicious.

The bed could have been a little firmer.

This is a lovely B&B in an adorable little village. Our host was very friendly and helpful and even packed us a breakfast to-go when we had to leave very early in the morning. The house is very cute and the room was comfortable.

Unbelievable spot. Great value for money. Room was very nicely done with private bath and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in with an old fashioned country quilt to top it off. Breakfast was more of a "culinary experience" than a breakfast. All and all, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning.

What a beautiful place! We were welcomed with open arms and lots of information about the area and sites to see. The room was so bright and clean. We will definitely be back. It was just what we were looking for!

Breakfast was substantial and delicious every morning- 5 times with a different meal everyday. It was a convenient place to stay for visiting family.
