Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa

A beautiful historic old hotel with a beautiful interior and grounds. The bed was very comfortable. Staff very cheerful and helpful.

There was only 1 set of elevators, not convenient to the rooms or facilities. We had to use stairs frequently. Not good for seniors. But staff cheerfully helped with luggage! The breakfast had only meat and egg and potato dishes. No option for vegans. No fresh lox or fish offered even though we're on the Bay of Fundy

The property is great, lovely walking trail, very comfortable room. Excellent front desk staff - Queen of all knowledge Barb was awesome. Also the best dinner and waitress Lisette, who made our evening extra special

Buffet breakfast I have to say are also a bit disappointing since the food though good is served warm and not hot. In the grand scheme of things not the end of the world.

The Digby Pines is like an iconic grand old dame. I love the classic architecture and the location is stunning! It makes me happy new life is being breathed into it and look forward to seeing the full impact of the renovations. bonus points for Nespresso machine in the room! we also ate at Churchill’s and the food exceeded our expectations! So good!

Because the hotel has just reopened and still under renos, there were a few things amiss like no closet in our room (which could have been solved by an inexpensive rack), it was a little chilly, and would have been nice to have a small bar fridge.

Room in need of renovation ( note that the hotel is in the process of being renovated so had new air con and heating in room. Freshly painted room, but bathroom and decor dated. Clock radio old and not able to pick up a signal

We had an amazing stay! The room was clean and bed was so comfortable. Food was excellent and loved we were able to get room service as well. We stayed with our 2.5 year old so having the room service option was great. They also had a great kids menu. The pool is my favourite. It’s beautiful, big and warm. We all looked forward to going a couple times a day. Great playground that’s all age friendly. Toddler was able to really enjoy that. Loved the propane fire table in the little courtyard to sit at outside of the restaurant. Staff was so friendly and was so great with our toddler. We felt so welcomed there. 10/10 recommend.

The cottage was comfortable. Needing upgrading but we knew in advance. The pool was wonderful, clean & well maintained with engaged life guard. Digby scallops for supper were delicious! Staff friendly & helpful

Look forward to the upgrades as the old building & cottages are showing their wear.

Need some update ,very old building. Bathroom : very hard to close the door,old faucets no vent .Small Fridge in the room will be great update. SPA is part of the hotel name: just one register therapist for massage ,came Monday and no spot for all week.Next time tell us to book massage few weeks befor the vacation :( No cleaning and no fresh towels. Stayed 3 days called reception and they send me fresh one. Garbage if you want to be pick up just put outside the door.They can clean after we left and can't when we stay.

The property is gorgeous with grand ambience. It's huge with cottages, a main building, a playground (my child was thrilled) and lots of outdoor space and trails to walk. We were originally intending to eat in the town, but the Churchill Restaurant at the hotel was so gorgeous and attractive that we decided to eat in during our stay. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to the irrational needs of my three-year old (thank you Hannah).

We booked two rooms as a family. We were given our room keys when we checked in, but when we got to our rooms on the third floor, one of them wasn't made up. They gave us another room immediately and were apologetic.

I really enjoyed the era of the property. The main rooms were stunning but the hotel rooms were nicely updated. It has an old world charm that is hard to find. Location felt remote...which I especially enjoyed. The pool...fantastic. A+

To be honest..the food was somewhat average.

The overall atmosphere of this property is very special - the food was very good, the building itself is beautiful, although the rooms and bathrooms (it was originally a railway hotel) are small. The area is very picturesque, in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Basin on the Bay of Funds.

Room and bathroom size is small. although well appointed. Pool, although open, was unheated.
