The breakfast was excellent. Loved the homemade bread and jam. The crepes were to die for. I liked how you get to share a dining room table with other couples and meet people from around the world. Dan and Glenda were very friendly and made you feel right at home. Our room was awesome. Very large with a super company bed. We would definitely stay there again , but maybe for a little longer next time. It was our first time staying in a B&B so we didn’t know what to expect and were very pleased with the whole experience. Loved the robes and slippers provided!can’t think of a thing

Our rooms and other common areas were very clean! There was some late evening traffic noise for front rooms (house is next to a 2-lane road) but closing the windows and running the AC or fan would muffle most of it. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The hosts were friendly and we enjoyed interacting with them as they served breakfast. Having a small refrigerator to store items was great. Also a coffee/tea station was available for use at any time.

Great breakfast. Lovely conversations with hosts and other guests. Felt like being part of the family. Being able to brew a coffee outside breakfast hours was much appreciated.

Nothing significant to complain about. Offering an opportunity to plug in my EV over night would have been appreciated. I realize electricity is not cheap in Nova Scotia. An overnight charge may have cost around $1.- which I would have had no problems paying for.

The location was great, just a short drive to the Main Street where there were restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious, all home-made. The beds were very comfortable and the attached bathrooms were large and well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We wished we would have booked more time there. We would recommend The Baker’s Chest without hesitation to anyone coming to Truro.

The room was clean and tastefully finished. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and clean. The breakfast was just so special. And Dan and Glenda were friendly and friendly and nice hosts. If we have a chance, we'd like to stay there again. :) Thank you.

I never use any laundry detergent with scent. It wasn't strong smell, but bothered me a bit. That's all!

A very cosy B&B owned by a friendly couple who we actually got to know a little bit thanks to the nice chats in the living room in the evening. Everything is clean, the facilities are great and the breakfast is delicious! Including home made muffins.

It's close to the train track so you can hear the horn in the morning. We had the window open so the advice is to keep it closed.

We absolutely loved this property, this is the best place to stay in Truro! It is well located with a country feel but still close to downtown, spacious inside and out, comfortable beds, private and sparkling clean bathrooms with each suite, it is much better than a hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts were amazing! We had a great time hanging by the pool.

The house was beautiful, and was in a great location. Clean, quiet, amazing breakfast. Quiet and very comfortable. The owners had thought of everything. Bonus being the outdoor pool. Could have stayed there longer We loved it, great hosts.

The owners of Bakers Chest have provided everything to make a viisit relaxing and inviting. Only wish that we had arrived earlier and stayed more than 1 night. The breakfast was delicious, served with warm humour and gave us an opportunity to meet other guests. Would recommend highly to anyone coming to Nova Scotia ..esp entering Cape Breton.

Lovely place, Dan and Glenda were a very friendly couple. Breakfast each day were delicious. Enjoyed a glass of wine in garden area which was was beautiful. Recommended!!
