The owners were just so completely welcoming. I brought my own beach towel in case I went swimming in the lake and figured I'd just use it at the pool - they saw me swimming and brought over one of their pool towels for me instead.

If HAD to pick something I didn't like, the modern lamp/clock/charger honestly confused me and I accidentally turned on the alarm at one point. Darned thing was so confusing just to try to turn off the alarm. Seriously though, everything was so wonderful, this is the only thing I could find even a hint of complaint about - and really we just all had a good laugh about it.

Room exceptionally clean, great lighting, very comfortable bed, owner very welcoming. You can sit outside front or back of room. It was very nice to get to the pool after a hot day on the road.

Despite all the good amenities, this is a motel with a pool so the price is out of proportion for what you get. In fact, the restaurant was not open (contrary to what was stated on the web site). Not even a coffee/simple breakfast was offered. The only establishment within walking distance is a Tim Horton’s. You can’t have it both ways, high prices and reduced services.

The warmth of Harsha’s reception and phone conversation. The option for food & alcohol. The clean pool and bathroom. Pool towel availability as one of us forgot one! Comfortable king bed. Close to town.

Small rooms but it’s a motel folks! Having to pay $25 extra to use the hot tub. The cost for one night but all costs are ridiculous post pandemic!

We liked how friendly and accommodating the owners of the property were, to us. They called us ahead of time, to check on our arrival time, to ensure the room was ready, warmed up, and super clean, when we arrived. They took great care to ensure we had what we needed for the weekend, and everything we needed was included in the price of the room. We were extended offers of cutlery and dishes to enjoy our take out meals, at the table set up in the room, making the experience feel more like home.

The decor was dated, yet inviting and very clean, and the beds were doubles instead of queen size beds, although this was likely because we required a pet friendly room.

Cozy, very clean rooms with extra blankets/pillows already in the room. Great view of lake from our room. Just down the road from Tim Hortons so was ideal for quick breakfast/coffee. Harsha at the front office was wonderful and very welcoming. We will be back. Thanks again.

The place is peace and quiet. We stayed at the upper level with a balcony looking over the lake/main road. The staff was friendly. There is mircowave, mini ref, extra pillow and small table.

The price was high ($220/night) yet no breakfast. The coffee maker seems it hasn't be clean since the last accomodator.

Very convenient location for our needs which was a place for a 1 night stay. Our room was ready for us and warm. We were permitted a late checkout if we wanted one, which is really nice of the Lakeview to offer to us. They also let us have our dog with us which was fantastic. That made it really helpful for us to stay there.

A couple more pillows on the bed would have been nice so that we could prop our backs up better so that we could sit up in bed and read.

great little place tucked away in Halibourton. The family suite was comfortable and clean. The hosts were very helpful and ready to help. The pool is a great plus if you have kids and need to have some fun time with them.

I cannot think of anything wrong. Place is great.

Very clean and neat. Well maintained and very friendly staff. Location in the middle so it’s easy to travel everywhere in reasonable time. Throughly enjoyed our stay here.

Owners were friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable. The fridge, microwave and coffee were nice touches. Our German Shepherd and 2 parrots were welcomed which was really nice! Some establishments say they accept pets but put restrictions on the size of dog and will only accept dogs. Lakeview Motel was very accommodating.

It would have been nice to have the restaurant open but I understand it was closed due to COVID restrictions. It’s not a reflection on the motel, just the times that we’re all experiencing these days.
