121 Steakhouse & Motel

It was a quick trip for a family goodbye. Room was comfortable, clean and COOL. Restaurant food was delicious and served quickly and pretty good value for money spent. Employees in all areas were courteous and friendly. Thank you for all you did to make our stay enjoyable during a difficult visit to our home town.

We suffer from allergies and the scented room deodorizers that are used forced us to have to leave the door open to air the room out. This led to more than a few flies joining us to enjoy the facilities.

Great location, clean, some good upgrades- bathroom was all redone and very nice, beds were great, new lights were nice.

Some of the new lights were already broken, so didn’t work, which was a shame. The hot water ran out after about 2 minutes and it appeared only half the guests had already left, perhaps it was just that everyone had just showered? Furniture was a bit worn and could be replaced, some of it.

I have to confess, the photos and the drive up, made me really wonder what I was getting myself into. However as promised the property was recently renovated including the washroom. The breakfast included was THE best breakfast I have ever had as part of the room.

Parking a trailer on the property was....suspect, for space. We parked on the road with no concerns.

Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Location is good right in Town. Restaurant and Bar are adjacent to the hotel rooms. Food was good for supper and breakfast. There is also an off-sale liquor store where you check-in. Off-sale and Bar/Restaurant staff followed protocols for checking vaccination status or negative covid test results. Masks were warn by patrons and staff.

Housekeeping woke us up at 8:30 for an 11:00 check-out.

Comfortable room with good wifi and AC. Not much to look at from the street but the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. More than you could reasonably expect for a town of this size (most of the time).

Towels look like they pre-date the pyramids.

The breakfast was very good, as usual.

We were told initially that breakfast was not included for our 9 year old granddaughter, whereas we had booked the room for all three of us. The waitress made the adjustment, which was good. A minor complaint - two of the lamp lights in our room were not working, and were replaced quickly, but this was a bit of an inconvenience.

Very central. We had everything we needed. Excellent supper and breakfast and very clean and good value. Had to register in the Liquor Store which was a little strange.

Quick easy check in, lovely rooms. Best breakfast we've ever had included in the room price. Not your standard breakfast included fare. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet and an excellent included breakfast!

Nothing except it seemed weird to check in from the liquor store. It was obvious from the street where to go to check in.

Free included breakfast was great (eggs, ham/bacon, potatoes, toast etc). Outside was just ordinary looking (motel rooms were across the street from the main building) but inside had been completely renovated which was great. Microwave, fridge, lots of space in the room. Interesting check-in: the main building had 4 doors (one on each side: one for the convenience-liquor store, one for the restaurant, one for the bar/tavern and one for the office!) In the end, I checked in to the motel at the convenience store/liquor store! But the service was great, loved the breakfast, and we even went over to the restaurant for dinner one night.

Everything was fine. No suggestions to make.
