Needs more accessible power outlets

The beds were actually comfy and the blanket was very fluffy which was surprising. For an outdated town hotel. It was to be expected.

The remote didn't work, couldnt power the tv off or change the volume on the tv. There was a toque that someone left behind that was tucked behind the one mattress. There was a lot of ice around the front and no sand or salt was put down.

I liked the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. And the room was clean. The bedding was nice and the beds were comfortable. The price was very good.

The whole hotel smelled of cleaners. The rooms smelled of cleaners and one morning I could smell old smoke in my room. It is an older building.

The internet did not work at all,you could connect to it but had no internet

I had no major expectations. So it was relatively easy for those to be met. A good restaurant is just out your door, Additional parking is at the rear of the building. It shares that parking lot with the restaurant and bar. Hotel was quiet and comfortable and there were no noisy patrons. Air conditioner/room heater worked well although because the dials were worn, it took a while to figure out the settings and what they were for and how to adjust them. For the price of the room, in this day and age, a person cannot expect too much.

There are pump soap dispensers in the shower and near the bathroom sink. There was little to no soap in those dispensers and they were not refilled when they cleaned the room. I found the water in the shower difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. I watched as the cold water tap would slowly turn off as I was setting the temperature. It did finally stop rotating once I had the temperature where I was comfortable. It has no elevator, so if you are on the second floor you have 14 steps to get to the second floor. There was a number you had to call when you arrived at the front desk before you received help from anyone. Of the 13 days I stayed there, only on 3 occasions of the 30+ times I went through the lobby, was there anybody at the front desk and twice the young person there was more focused with their cell phone.

The beds were quite uncomfortable.

No breakfast, we ate our own food

More pillows, more plugs. Non broken furniture.

Rooms smelt of cigarettes and the shower was falling apart. It's in need of a revamp.

This place is so dirty and gross. Staff are unprofessional no one at front desk, at both check in and check out. Honestly felt dirtier staying here than I would in a hostel. Rooms are non smoking but reeks like cigarettes and smoke. I'd reccomend the health department does an Inspection and gets this place shut down. The outlet behind one bed was not attached to the wall. The shower was filthy. Floors hadn't been vacuumed by the looks of things.
