The motel is on the Alaska highway and was easy to locate. The hotel was also very close (within walking distance) to the George Johnston museum and the public boat launch. The view of the Nisutlin Bay Bridge from the boat launch is spectacular and will only be in existance for a few more years while the replacement bridge is being completed. The associated general store and gas station has almost everything from wrench sockets to moccasins to frozen foods.

It was a little awkward to register for the motel at the store check out counter with customers waiting behind me.

Place was more comfortable than I expected. Teslin very small. Not many choices. Trading Post and Motel combos don't promise much. But place was clean and quiet and had what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's not a fancy place, but I wasn't expecting fancy. Good value.

There aren't many choices in Teslin, but this place really worked out for us! Also, when our room in Whitehorse fell thru a week later, I called Dylan at Nisutlin Trading Post and asked if he could find a room for us. Even though it was 11:00 pm, he took good care of us!

Because it is a motel/gas station/general store and the pictures I had seen of the area I expected it to be more of a truck stop place for truckers to sleep/shower/rest and it may be typically just that but I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room and it was comfortable both ambiance and bed. As a single traveler I often have to go on gut instinct about a place when I book and this place is definitely a comfortable choice for a single traveler.

I was told because I was a guest I would get a 10% discount if I filled up in the morning. I went in the store the next morning and talked to the woman who told me this...she said go out and pump and come back. When I went back she said I pumped too fast so she wasn't able to key in for the discount...if I go in to ask what to do...give me all the facts before you send me out the door or the message is....you really don't want to give a discount. After a good night stay, I walked away annoyed...not how a good stay should end!

once you got into the room it was fine

if I we’re driving down the road and saw a better option I probably would take the option since the outside of the facility is a little grungy but then pretty much everything on that road looks a little grungy. we arrived a little after 9:00 and had to make a phone call to get in and no one was available when we left at 7:00 in the morning.

The room was comfortable and clean! It was quiet as well, I didn't hear any neighbors until the morning, and even then it was not disruptive. Given the remoteness of the location, this was a surprisingly delightful place to stay!

Great staff! This is a simple hotel in the Yukon, so it's not upscale, but it was really comfortable and safe. The staff are attentive. The room was very clean. Everything was just fine and a great value for the money.

When we pulled up at Nisutlin, I wondered what we were getting into. Check in was very quick and easy. When we first opened the door to our room, I was like uh.... But we got settled in and everything was very clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

I thought it was a bit pricey for the room, for one night, but that might just be the location.

The room was renovated tastefully and it was very comfortable. The toiletries were nice.The fan was quiet and there was good ventilation. We had a good nights sleep. We ate a really nice dinner across the road at the restaurant.

Nothing... don't judge a motel by its cover!!

Comfi bed. Friendly check in via the shop. Found everything we needed to prep a meal with only the available microwave. Comfortable bed, good shower and clean.
