There are no words to explain what staying at Hare Nua Boutique Hotel was....but I will try. This is one of the best destinations and best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is not about how comfortable the room was, which it was. It is not about how good the breakfast was, which it was. It is not about how professional they were...Hare Nua is all that you expect of a good hotel, but what makes it stand out from the rest is the feeling of community that they bring. The welcome with flowers and local desserts, how the staff tells you about how they live their culture and invite you to be a part of it. They are problem-solvers too, when we had a mixup with one of the shows, they helped us book it and gave us an amazing experience for me and my mom. Being gifted with a Moai protector as we said farewell was such a special detail too. This hotel is the right decision. Iorana e Maururu Hare Nua.

Hare Nua is such a beautiful property, featuring a lush green garden in its tranquil courtyard. It is very well-decorated and maintained. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Having an AC is definitely a plus! We were also deeply touched by the warmth and hospitality shown to us by the staff whose genuine kindness made our experience all the more memorable. Their thoughtful gesture of arranging a little birthday surprise for my wife truly went above and beyond our expectations. The location of this hotel couldn't be more ideal, making exploring the town a breeze, with restaurants and shops easily accessible on foot. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hare Nua to any family or friends planning a visit to Rapa Nui.

The wifi is spotty at night.

Absolutely everything! The welcome was magical; we had a soft drink and a delicious piece of banana cake while the lady was explaining how the hotel works. The lobby, the garden, everything is absolutely beautiful. There are a lot of spots to read, relax and enjoy the life. You don’t feel like a client, but like a part of the family. At the end of your stay you get a little goodbye gift :) The room is absolutely perfect. So comfy, so cute, and the products in the bathroom are amazing too! Everything is perfectly clean. The hotel is well located; you are close to everything!

The only thing was that we could hear our neighbour snore… but I think the walls are all pretty thin on the island (we started our vacation in another accommodation).

Everything!! Location was fantastic and so convenient we could have walked to and from airport if we didn’t have luggage also short walk to cafes, groceries, waterfront & car rentals. The attention to detail, warm and friendly staff. Maria picked us up from the airport and showed us around the area and always made us feel at home. Sebastian was awesome and easy to chat with and basically all the staff were great! Our room overlooked the town and we loved it.

That we didn’t stay long enough. Only 4 nights and it went super quick. Was sad to leave.

This place is a gem 💎, the Deluxe room is beautiful, new, clean, with A/C and wifi, the hotel is beautiful all green full of plants every were, a small and private pool and jacuzzi that are great for the late afternoons after all day excursions, the included breakfast is perfect and enough, the location is perfect right in the middle of the main street walking distance to all Hanga Roa, But the best part is the service of every person that works in here from the 2 maids, Eduardo at the front desk and the owners Francisca, Sebastián and MariaJose are hands in helping you with everything you need, from the moment we got to the airport they pick up us with flower necklaces and a welcome drink and eatable treats, they were very helpful all week with car rental, activities, tour guides (like "Teva Haoa" our tour guide, he was great, professional but fun, with lots of knowledge on every aspect of the island), answer any question about the island, they are amazing hosts. If you are not sure yet, just book at Hare Nua.

Everyone associated with the Hotel was graces, friendly and very accommodating. They were a great host. The location of the Hotel is excellent. With few exceptions, everything is walkable. It's very obvious the owner and the staff take great pride in the Island and in their heritage. They want you to be comfortable and make it easy for you to see and enjoy your visit to the Island. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you are greeted and treated like royalty. They could not have done more to make our stay pleasant and memorable. You will not find a better place to stay on your visit to the Island.

This hotel is charming! The attention to detail is just right and the staff has such a great vibe. As a solo traveler I felt very whole and safe staying here. The rooms are spacious with excellent air conditioning. The food is generous and overall the hotel has a homey vibe which is what I loved the most. Cat also was great <3 the girls who picked me up at the airport with a flower necklace were a treat and it kick started my holiday on a great note. Congratulations and thank you !!!

Everything was perfect!

Hotel was in a great location on the main street and it was beautifully decorated and arranged throughout. The bedroom was lovely with one of the comfiest beds we have ever had and great air-con for the surprising heat. The owners were very nice and made you feel at home, in what was their family hotel.

Breakfast was OK, but could have been more options, although plenty for what we needed. Breakfast room was quite small meaning everybody was sat close together. When we booked we were offered the option of being picked up from the airport and returned at the end of the stay. For this they wanted $80 return. The hotel is approx 1.5 miles from the airport so this seems disproportionately high, even for the high Easter Island prices. Taxi was approx $5-6.

Honestly, the staff were truly helpful, accomodating and truly sweet. We really enjoyed our holidays and we would recommend it to others. The breakfast were beyond amazing. They even cooked special stuff for my dietary requirements. It was 4 of us and we all enjoyed it a lot.

There were only two things we'd like to note: the price for the pick up to and from the airport was not stated clearly and we were a bit shocked to find out that for a 3 minutes drive we were charged 40 USD per person, so it was a total of 160 USD. It was very excesive, best to arrange a private taxi (or literally walk haha). Also, the spa didn't work a single day we were day, that was a bit disappointing as we wanted to use it an afternoon it rained.

Super friendly hosts providing lots of recommendations for activities on the island. The hotel is built around a beautiful interior garden with outdoor and covered areas to sit and relax. Many restaurants, Cafés and shops along the street next to the hotel, including bike and car rentals (just walk up and get going!). The room was nice, decor is a bit retro (on purpose as we found out during the intro), good AC, strong shower. Good breakfast.
