Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nicolas. The B&B is located at the beginning of the central street meaning that everything is within a short walking distance. The rooms had everything we needed and the breakfast was simple but enough, it had all the basics. Our trip was a success thanks to Nicolas. We planned our trip but did not take in account that certain places are not accessible for individuals on certain dates. Thankfully, Nicolas helped us come up with a new planning. We enjoyed our trip to the fullest and we would definitely recommend staying at Casa Lickana!

Wonderful and cosy place to stay, the location is fantastic as you’re literally less than a min walk from the Main Street and the staff were so lovely and helpful! The staff often checked in on us to ensure all was ok and even gave us little breakfast packs on days we had early tours to bring with us. They also very kindly let us store our bags with them despite checking out, when we went on the 4-day Bolivia Salt Flats tour. The room had all of the main facilities and we enjoyed sitting outside too!

On one of the days the shower was cold in the morning but this was minor and we weren’t too fussed about this.

Very nice place! Super friendly service from staff. Special compliments to Nicolás, that waited for our arrival after his shift, and was always available to help us. Also location was perfect! I hope to have the chance to return to Atacama and stay again at Casa Lickana

The bathroom had some small issues (leak from the shower, and the tap was loose). Also the heather didn't started some nights, however super friendly staff found an alternative heating source almost immediately. None of the issues affected our stay.

Great location right on the main street but towards the end so quiet at night. Simple but comfortable rooms. Lovely warm shower. Warm room, we didn’t need the heater in October. Extremely helpful staff. Stored our luggage whilst we did a Bolivian 3 night trip. Made us a breakfast snack for our early departure. Would definitely recommend.

Only a minor detail, our bar fridge was noisy but we weren’t using it so unplugged it.

Staff was extremely friendly and supportive. They took very good care of us from the very beginning right to the end. Actually, we had hired a airport transfer with our travel agency that didn’t turn up the day we were leaving. The cleaning ladies in Lickana helped us to get a taxi at 06:30 am so we didn’t miss our plane. If it hadn’t been for them, we would have been at a loss. Thank you very much!!!

Price. I think that it was expensive for the quality offered though I suppose that being in the middle of the dessert makes running such a facility expensive.

The rooms were small, but impeccably clean and comfortable. No AC, but the fan was perfect with the windows opened at night. The little patio in back was a bonus! The breakfasts were wonderful, too. But what really made this place special was the incredible staff. I had an injury while out and the staff were so wonderful at helping me when I returned. A huge thank you to Maria, Josie and Nicolas - you went above and beyond to make our stay excellent.

The bed was very comfortable and it's in a brilliant location, the breakfast was fine but they could provide fresh coffee and decent bread... The surroundings are a little Spartan but it was a good place to stay overall. The water was hot and plentiful, and it was secure.

The surroundings are a little bleak, and despite that being some greenery, it could be improved massively by making it more charming overall in its internal courtyard.

Very friendly/ helpful staff; terrific location on Caracoles and just outside the pedestrian part so quieter but easy for tour pick-up. Definitely recommend.

Wi-Fi only by door/ just outside room& need to use WhatsApp to monitor hotel pickup time & order for tours - but it is included and does work!

the staff was so great and so personable and friendly while still respecting boundaries, Jessie who I think managed the place literally saved our trip when our car rental agency collected our car that broke down and didn’t give us a replacement - Jesse spoke English & Spanish both very well and was able to get a replacement car from the company for us - the property is close to the Main Street, very clean and had daily cleaning for your room, hot breakfast which you could eat in a dining room or on a lovely table outside that each room was provided with, had a mini fridge which was great and the property was locked and you’re provided with our own key to the gate and it felt very safe staying there, to the back of your room is a nice little enclosed balcony to enjoy. it’s amazing value for your money so any complaints we can think of are outweighed by that

no ac, it was pretty hot when we went in December although ac is likely not a priority as many visits are cold and in this case the bed had a warmer which would have been lovely and cozy, there was a nice industrial fan that came in handy when it was hot also the room is kind of dark it could use new, white bedding to maybe brighten the place up but this is a small concern the common sitting area outside could be more cozy, maybe some fake grass or something to help set the vibe

Staff were so helpful. Lending us towels to go to Bolivia. Providing wine glasses. Providing free distilled water in the room that could be replenished at any time- saved us buying more plastic bottles. Also gave us a sandwich and juice to take with us on our early departure. God outdoor seating area and nice veranda with a table and chairs in the shade for most rooms.
