The world class service from all the staff made my experience very comfortable. Everyone I encountered was attentive to my needs and was welcoming. When there was a miscommunication with our booking, the staff made us feel cared for as we tried to sort it out. The view from our room was also beautiful. My mom and I stayed in a city view room and every morning we witnessed a beautiful sunrise illuminating the city and harbor. It was also quiet enough to stroll around the historic buildings and gardens in the morning.

There are a lot of tourists who aren’t hotel guests who come visit the hotel too during the day and evening so it can be quite noisy. There is no ability to crack open a window even a little bit so sometimes the room was very stuffy.

It’s really great, just like you’d expect. It’s a bit pricey and for the same amount of money you could get a bigger room somewhere else but the whole is just so nice than it’s no big deal. Id rather have a smaller room and nice facilities/awesome staff and services than a bigger room. Location is really great, it’s a bit outside of the buzzing city that can be overwhelming at some point so it’s really comfortable.

Very clean and spacious room. Superb historical location and river view. Loved the hotel museum particularly! This hotel is part of the story of China's economic reform and open up. Definitely worth a visit!

Staff are generally very hospitable and friendly. But as a renowned five star hotel, I would expect the service to be really above the standard. The market competition is fierce. If it wants to be comparable to global brands like Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Carlton, this hotel needs to polish its hospitality (which is already very good, of course). Separately, just wonder if the hotel should name itself 'The White Swan.' Drop the article 'the' and it feels so different in English.

We’ve visited here a couple years ago when it was freshly renovated and everything was amazing. We are happy to see that this hotel maintained its quality over the years. The room and amenities are top notch clean and comfortable. The staffs at the exec lounge are extremely polite and helpful. Overall a great stay.

The staffs in the lobby and the restaurants are a bit undertrained. The food quality lowered comparing to our last visit.

The property is clean and well decorated though it has been around for quite sometime. The location within Shamian Guangzhou made it a great place to explore shamian at night. The dim sum restaurant at Level 2 is well worth a try.

It’s location is also a limitation as going to Liwan area means a relatively long walk but it is ok if you want to explore Guangzhou or using taxi

I like the room is very spacious and with the river view. It is very clean. I’ll stay there again for my next trip.

The breakfast and the cocktails in the bar did not meet my expectation. The quality of the food and the taste of cocktails need to improve.

The club lounge staff made our stay exceptionally wonderful. Great hospitality, attentive and quick actions, always greeting us with warm smiles and gave great recommendations on sightseeing. They prepared a complimentary birthday cake for my mum's 60th birthday and it made our stay memorable.

Located in historic Shamian island, the hotel is strategically located and near to Huangsha metro station. Rooms are large and clean. Complementary cookies are sent to our room everyday and there is attention to detail. Everything is amazing about White Swan Hotel

the buffet breakfast was amazing and the price is reasonable. the lunch/the yumcha is a little bit pricy but still attracts many tourists and the locals as well. The environment is fabulous with waterfall, fish and Bush and the museum exhibitions are unforgettable with too many priceless items like ivory and jade engraving arts.
