This is a great hotel with a beautiful room and mine had a bath. Enjoyed it very much.

That they could smoke in the breakfast and dining area. I am allergic to smoke and had to ask the people to stop. Smoking in an area where food is consumed should be forbidden. I find smoking in a hotel should be prohibited always.

The room was very large, modern and comfortable. I was not disappointed that I booked this hotel. Even though it is not close to a metro station, taxis are very cheap in Suzhou, so it did not cause any problems with sightseeing. The staff were very polite and helpful, and helped us to call a taxi when we needed to go out. The restaurant within the hotel (Little Su) was also excellent and I would recommend. It was very helpful that there was a laundry room, as we were halfway through our trip. There was also a small gym, although we didn't use it.

My room faced the main road, so it was slightly noisy. My parents room was fine. Small recommendation - would be useful to have hooks/rail for towels.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! Not only was the location perfectly situated for my particular itinerary but the overall hospitality and customer service was wonderful. Although it was a busy time (Spring Festival season), everyone was very friendly and accommodating! The room and amenities were great and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant offered a Chinese-style buffet breakfast which was great and the dinner options were also to my liking. I would certainly recommend this establishment and will definitely make it a priority booking for future visits to Suzhou.

We ate in the restaurant for the 4 nights. Every night different food and delicious. The beer was cold, which is important to me. The breakfast was excellent with the best coffee made from real beans. Very good.

The location is remote and very difficult to find . The hotel reception staff walked the 10 minutes to our bus stop to guide us back to the hotel via meandering roads. Very good service. Not near a metro but we found a hidden bus stop on day 3. Taxis were cheap into town, RMB15 and the hotel booked them for free. Again perfect service All questions answered. Overall, i would definately stay again.

Our room is excellent, very clean and spacious. It is just as in the picture. The ladies at the front desk and cleaning service are exceptionally helpful and kind. There are free washer and dryer in the facility, and a small gym, so it is great for long term stay as us (6 nights). The location is very quiet. The food at the restaurant is good for dinner and breakfast. The room temperature is adjustable, and is very comfortable.

There should be a rack for towels in the restroom; The breakfast room's windows are always open, even in the cold winter (almost 0C outside). But they will close them if you asked. There are some road constructions nearby road (actually in the main part of the city). It is about half hour walk to most of the tourist places, but it is quite easy to call a car.

The room was very comfortable and clean, decorations were cute and chic. There were loads of amenities, including two washing machines and a dryer that were free for use. They also have a mini gym although they only have a few small weights and a small threadmill and one cycling machine. Breakfast was provided and there was a variety of food including a noodle station, a porridge station, and other cooked warm and cold foods. The staff were extremely friendly, providing very flexible check-in and check-out times, and they were also very helpful.

Nothing bad to report. I only wish they provided a water dispenser for room temperature water to be more environmentally friendly instead of only having boiling water dispensers and bottled water.

At 35euro per night this hotel is amazing value. Really comfortable and clean with great facilities, lovely garden and a quiet atmosphere. The restaurant is very nice and the buffet breakfast is also great value and delicious. Staff are polite and helpful. Also the robot that delivers orders to your room is so cute. I will miss that little guy the most! Tiger Hill is a 25 min walk away and a beautiful day out, highly recommended.

Cleaning staff were a bit nosey, however, they were generous with the supply of towels and bathroom products. The staff don't speak English, though it was not a problem for us. If you don't like walking you will need a taxi to get to the shops and city centre, but they are very affordable (17 yuan from the intercity train station). Lingering garden is nice but overrated...

Pros: the price was right; washer and dryer service available; spacious rooms; restaurant onsite. Location isn’t the greatest (maybe 7 out of 10), but I knew what I was signing up for and you can easily take DiDi anywhere around the city.

It might be a cultural thing but some of the staff members (the males with the eye glasses) I encountered were a little standoffish. However, the main lady that works there was great - she was friendly, spoke some English, and very helpful. I didn’t get her name, but she worked everyday I was there, so thanks to her.

Competitive price and I love the communal space including a gym and a launderette that every guest can use free of charge. The clean staff are all so friendly and helpful.

No room service, the canteen located on the ground floor refused to serve food at 3pm. Although it might not be part of the hotel, I am not entirely sure. There is only a petrol station and a restaurant next to the hotel if you are hungry but again hard for foreigners. It would also be quite hard for foreigners to stay connected because to access the room Wi-Fi you will need a Chinese phone number to get a verification code via text.

Clean room, functional corner with a fridge and tea kettle. Polite service. I had better breakfasts in many other hotels, but this issue does not affect the rating.

The disadvantage of the hotel is its location. Very far from the center, from attractions, shops and restaurants. There is no other option than a taxi to get to the city and back to the hotel. The room has a basic decor. There is nowhere to put your suitcase.
