Great choice for breakfast and suits a western visitor too. Room a good size and very clean. Good location, close to the metro and some coffee shops. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy for didi to stop and pull in. I would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant location, easy to get to the metro station and also great spot for find while driving. Love all their staff at the reception, very welcoming and friendly. Quiet at night and very convenient to park the car.

Serena the a manager who was working the front desk. She cleared up the mess, even after she was off work. Jorden front of house supervisor for his professional work attitude. The should both be congratulated for the manner in which the treated us, and I observed them treat others. The facilities where great - super comfy bed and bedding. Just what you need to break up an inter - provence move.

Mixed information. Staff told me me the pool closed at 11pm. The elevator also advertised 11pm pool closing. The gym staff not only told us 10pm, but refused to check with the downstairs management. Instead insisted we were incorrect and wanted to point out to us the pool did close at 10 - even walked us over to the sign saying so, rather than find out why the information from management was different from what he knew. This mix up and lack of staff training in the gym turned a simple lack of communication into a pain point for our stay - we had timed our return to the hotel for an hour in this pool. Please be advised there are good staff at this hotel - yet the staff in the gym lack sufficient customer service training.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been to, falsely claiming to be a 5-star establishment. I have no idea how they obtained that rating. Upon entering the room, there was a strong odor of urine. The corridors were filthy and smelly as well. I won't even bother describing the overall environment, as it barely met the standards of a budget roadside motel, let alone a 5-star hotel. I tried placing an order for delivery and requested the front desk to have it brought to my room. To my surprise, they informed me that they don't offer such a service and I had to pick it up myself. Originally, I had planned to stay for two days, but I immediately decided to check out. I inquired about checking out around 18:00 and was told that it would result in a half-day charge. However, upon checking out at 17:00, I was informed by a female staff member at the front desk that the policy was to charge a full day if checking out after 16:00. Despite showing her the chat record from my booking platform, They were still unwilling to assist me with a half-price checkout. They even asked me to contact the booking platform myself for a refund and then proceeded to charge me for half a day. If this hotel can claim to be 5-star, then other hotels in Shanghai must be rated at least 10 stars. I have blacklisted this place and this will be the first negative review I write online.
