The room was spacious with a convenient desk, a big bed, a sofa and an extra comfy small sofa by the window sill. There was a small fridge, a hair dryer and all the necessary toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was a great choice for breakfast: you can eat cornflakes, yoghurt, noodles, sausages, eggs, rice buns, fruit and pastry. The Laojie metro entrance is in the same building as the hotel, so you basically take the lift down, walk out of the entrance door, turn round the corner and you get on the metro. I paid in cash, not problems with that. After check out, I needed an extra document for my employee. I emailed the hotel and they sent it to me within an hour, although it was already in the evening. The hotel is located in a lively neighbourhood with lots of shops and eateries. There are even a couple of pedestrian streets with only snack stands and street food booths. There's a McDonald's store and UNIQLO nearby.

When checking in, I was asked to pay the full fee upfront (no problem with that) and a deposit of around 20% of the total fee. The deposit was returned to me upon check out. I don't think the deposit is mentioned anywhere in the hotel profile. It is useful to let guests know about it in advance so that they prepare enough RMB if they are going to pay in cash.

It is our first time in Shenzhen. The hotel is just 10-15 minutes from Shenzhen train station which costs only 15 RMB to the hotel. The location of the hotel is great. It is near to shopping places and restaurants. Although our breakfast is completely different from China, we could find things to eat and we are happy about the breakfast. The receptionists are very helpful , thanks to all of them. If I come again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

There is nothing to say we don’t like.

The room is so spacious and suitable for our group of 3 adults. Breakfast has not so many option, but what is available, already met with our preference. Location in Dongmeng is the best with the hustle and bustle of the East Gate Pedestrian Street, everything is there to enjoy! Subway also just few steps away. We suggest to add with International ATM so foreigner like us, can easily make cash withdrawal.

Great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, subway is just next to the hotel. Staff is very helpful and polite, very spacious room, good variety of food for breakfast.

The seating at breakfast could have been managed by having a waiter attending to the queue. It would be very nice if they could arrange our rooms to be at least on the same floor. Besides these, everything else was very good.

The Wi-Fi bandwidth is totally inadequate for file transfer of any size. OK for basic e-mail text or messaging.

Everything was very nice in the hotel, the facility, spacious room, location, breakfast, kind staff etc. It's the second time that I have stayed there, and want to stay there again.

There was a continuous heavy noise, such as singing and music at night from outside of the hotel, due to activities on the square for their live streaming to the social network. However, overall, it was very nice to stay.

Being a 4star international hotel, without much facilities such as swimming pool, proper bar and massage / spa center. Breakfast noodles menu / dishes are written in Chinese instead of dual languages (English).

Before Covid, some of the reception staff could speak English - no longer the case. Such a shame. Nevertheless, can still get by.
