The hotel is well designed and well appointed. The rooms are very comfortable and the layout works very well. I enjoyed the use of the gym and pool facilities. Breakfast is good and there are many choices to suit all tastes.

The only small negative relates to the air conditioning system that is switched off during winter and early spring. We found the room hot at night. The hotel opened our window and that helped, but it would be better to have the A/c working at all times. The front desk staff struggle with English and this can be a little frustrating if the person on duty has limited English.

Nice view by the water and great reception staff. Top services and facilities even it’s not that new anymore. Breakfast ok. Very clean and very nice environment.

The room glass is not privacy one-side to the outside? When I missed breakfast due to medical situation, the manager kindly offered some bread - but only 2 small bread - yes we missed the breakfast time but we paid for it already and it is because of unpredictable medical situation. I’m sure there is a bit more to do than just 2 small bread and 1 coffee in a top 5 star hotel.

The location is very convenient, and has a stunning lake view. The staffs were really nice, especially Alexander He, Bart Li and Jack Zhang, they helped out a lot and provided professional services on all different aspects. We also had a buffet lunch and had a dinner in the Chinese restaurant, services were great and food from the Chinese restaurant was amazing, absolutely love it.

I liked the decor. I thought the manager Alex was excellent. I can’t rate him highly enough. He deserves a raise. He has fantastic customer care skills and is one of the best hotel managers I have ever met.

It was just at the time the hotel starts to turn on the AC and it is a whole building system it seems and takes a few days to filter to rooms in a way that can be regulated by visitors in their rooms. unfortunately it was only turned on the day I arrived and was so warm the first night I couldn’t sleep well. Alex got me two fans however and I was comfortable for the following nights. Also the pool was unavailable due to maintenance during my stay and I booked my stay there so I could use the pool. I think the hotel should inform people when they book. They did offer me free breakfast during my stay which compensated me for the inconvenience. The breakfast is quite expensive for what they offer, so I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast.

Restaurant. Helpful staff..it's a boon for travellers . The break fast spread is awesome. For Vegans and vegeterians food options. Even the chinese restaurant staff made some food vegeterian options for us. The European restaurant also very good.. staffs were really polite and helpful.

Lot of work going around the property. May be location may become better in future.. flooring and decors looks old. Like most other chinese hotels,changing money is expensive here also.

Breakfast buffet so good! I gain weight from it 😄! Hotel location is great ! By the lake , I really enjoy walking along 南湖公园！From the hotel to the left -walking distance to my favorite mall Mixc. To the right a few minutes to my favorite street west road , so many restaurants with good food!

Actually there is nothing I didn’t like this time

Everything was fantastic and am looking forward to staying here again. Breakfast was very good and the little German restaurant by Paulaner is also amazing. Scott and Mia in particular were of fantastic help to me and the way they went above and beyond for me definitely helped make my stay very comfortable.

The view was fantastic. The room was clean, cozy and comfy. I especially like the separation of the toilet and bathroom. It’s more convenient. Some free drinks and snacks were offered. Free water bottles were given every day.

It was a bit far from the train station. Usually we took a taxi and car to different places. The mattress was too soft. It was not easy to sleep on it.

Great location next to the lake and subway station. Alex, the front desk manager always check on me and sent fruit to my room. The door men are all very helpful and friendly, help with ordering taxi for me. It’s wonderful to see the hotel manager always in the lobby to greet guests. Room service food is much better than other hotels, always fresh and hot. The room is clean and comfortable.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A guy name Alex did all that he could and a bit more to help. We must mention Mia. We left a mobile phone at a taxi. Mia located the founded, and guided her back to the hotel to bring the phone back. Without her help we were lost. Thank you Mia
