Sueno Tranquil is a small motel-style hotel, with a line of rooms facing onto a small parking area, and the pool beyond it behind a wall. The pool was very small, but pleasant and open until quite late at night (a rarity in Costa Rica). The room was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning. It's only 5 minutes' walk from the seafront in the centre of Quepos and is directly opposite a reasonably priced fish restaurant.

The shower only had cold water (which isn't too bad given how hot and humid Quepos is!) I also could not get my laptop to see the wifi, although the phone found it OK - possibly some sort of security block? The rooms have large sliding glass patio doors, which did not appear very secure (and there are no room safes) - it would also be easy for anyone to walk in off the road.

The host Yesenia ('Jessie') was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. There was no coffee maker in the room and she saw to it promptly to get one for me, along with some very good coffee. I had some items needing refrigeration so she let me use the fridge on the premises for those items and the freezer. The pool was very clear and clean, and well-maintained, which I know is not easy. The grounds were also clean and organized.

Of course, a coffee maker in the room would be nice.

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. The pool was great to cool off on a hot day. Wifi was fine. Location is a 5 minute was to the town area but there are two nice restaurants are across the street.

The walk to town area is along a very busy road and although it was uncomfortable at first, it seemed to be quite safe. 20 minutes at least from Manuel de Antonio. We were told that some of the nearby beaches are prone to robberies so we did not use them.

The complex has a few rooms set around a courtyard and parking area, making it easy for a large group to stay together but in separate rooms. There is a small plunge pool which was kept clean. There are good restaurants just across the road (Bahia Sur) and plenty more in Quepos town and the marina, plus plenty of shopping including a large local supermarket two minutes walk. The staff was very helpful.

The air conditioner was broken when we first checked in but it was fixed.

The staff was amazing here. I needed laundry done and they did it all quickly and had it folded and in my room when I got back from dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I wish there was coffee available early mornings for guests. It's a bit of a long walk just to get a cup of coffee in the morning.

The location is great, a minute away from restaurants etc. it’s off a main road but you can’t hear the traffic, there’s a pool which looked clean. loved our stay here. Air conditioning was great.

something to make coffee with or a small fridge but it wasn’t a problem as you’re near cafes and a supermarket.

The location is walking distance to Quepos center city. Close to the Malecon. Very pleasant. Nice restaurants across the street. Staff is very nice.

A desk and chair for working with a computer would be an improvement for me.

Very quiet and relaxing space in great location just beside the main Quepos downtown.

The facilities locks the entrance at 9pm every night. It was okay for me because I wanted a good night sleep

The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome. The aircon was great, use of facilities including kettle and microwave was very handy!

Sometimes the wifi drops out but otherwise no dislikes.

Lovely, clean and airy room with effective mosquito nets on door. Good location in Quepos. Excellent safety measures in place. Nice pool.
