Excellent selection of breakfast items. Hot selections were personally prepared by the chef. Food was presented well and was delicious. Breakfast hours need at 11:00 AM. Much appreciated by guests on holiday.

Loved everything about my stay. The hotel is an exceptional small 25 room boutique property. Housekeeping did an outstanding job. The hotel is so clean you feel like you were the first guest in who had stay in the room. Great first impression! Adanan the hotel manager is superb. He is attentive to his guests and is alway available to meet the needs and requests of hi suggests.

What a fantastic stay at Joel! It’s the shoulder season, so not busy which just made it better. Very modern, spotless clean and the nicest staff you could hope for. Made to order breakfast everyday (buffet when it’s high season) and cocktails by the best pool in Novalja. It was an incredible surprise to find out Dejan Lovren is the owner and he was there the whole time…for any Liverpool supporter, it makes the visit just that much better.

Lovely clean spacious apartments we stayed in the Deluxe apartment and it had everything we needed plus gorgeous sunset views .. all the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Pool area is excellent and was never too busy . Food also great and nothing was too much trouble .. u requested avocado Thank you for a lovely stay one morning which they didn’t have but they literally went out and bought some ! Amazing! Thanks so much

A couple of slight quibbles, the aircon in the room was never QUITE cold enough .. it certainly works but we just couldn’t get the temperature we required. The blackout blinds in the bedroom didn’t quite cover the unusual shaped windows so there was just too much daylight getting in especially after a late night out .. the curtains in the main room were ideal so maybe this could be looked at to improve sleep quality? Finally the music at the pool area was just a bit too loud . I was there to read and relax and I found it quite intrusive . Again, this is just personal preference and we would definitely stay there again .

Joel is combination of beautiful, unobtrusive design and luxurious comfort. All the windows in hotel have magnificent views of mediterranian surroundings, there is relaxing music in the background and a lot of space for a low number of guest (it is aparthotel, after all), so you can be sure to find a little bit of peace and quite for yourself. Rooms are super comfy, with enormous bed, again a lot of space, beautiful view and fully equipped kitchen. What we liked most in Joel is true Croatian hospitality. In the background it is a family run hotel and you can feel it. And yes, there may be some tinniest details that could be improved, but nothing that could in any way jeopardize your perfect holiday :)

Novalja is not the best part of Croatias coast, but Joel can be your starting point for exploring the rest of the island. :) Waiters in restaurant should learn wine cards, menus etc. :)

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous stay at Joel Hotel while we were visiting Pag Island for Sonus Festival (sans kids, bliss!). Lovely big rooms, huge and comfy beds, excellent food (the pool bar burger is probably one of the best burgers I've had, and we had a lovely meal from the restaurant on our balcony the last night of our stay), the view was stunning, and all staff were very friendly and polite (Adnan is probably the loveliest concierge I've met), and no request was too much trouble. A perfect stay, highly recommend.

Stayed here with my friends for Sonus festival and we absolutely loved it. Perfect location as it’s so close to the beach / shops but still nice and tucked away so it is quiet. Staff are so helpful and kind too. Food is absolutely incredible as well, would highly recommend.

The location was convenient for us, close to our friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The pool area is small but nice.

The central air conditioning system was not cooling the room enough, was pretty warm and even having staff come in and reset it, did not help.

The location was slightly removed from the main town, but it resulted in a very quiet night. We were able to venture to beaches on either side of the island. The hotel facilities are very clean and well laid out. It was really nice to have the pool available. Additionally, the breakfast was great.

Definitely Everything that they had to offer.. From the location, transportation, view, value for money , to the food that I regret that i ate 2 days out from the hotel for no reason but when i ate at the restaurant in the hotel it was way more better than out side.it our opinion.

Everything was more than enough for us, Will come back for sure! The best thing there is the good attitude of every single one that works there.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While not in the center of Novalja, it's within walking distance. The hotel also offers the option to rent bicycles. The location is peaceful since it's not in the busy center.
