I am in two minds about this hotel. It is stanning inside and outside, very well maintained, the staff is nice and polite, the pool is beautiful. But what is it doing near the dusty road and dirty beach? Yes it is near Trogir old town, but to get there you need to risk your life walking on the dusty edge of the road with cars trying to run you over. Trogir itself was a big disappointment. Split is so much nicer. I think hotel should be adults only. I like children, but with just one not very big pool it is impossible to relax. Try to swim in the small pool with five children from one year to teenagers and two inflatable zebras in - not enjoyable. I think it should be the city centre adults only hotel.

The road near the hotel is dusty, noisy and with no pavements. The beach is not very nice. Too many children for a small pool.

I booked one night initially then, when I showed my wife details of the hotel, she said that I should have booked two so I booked a second night. Once there, we were enjoying our stay so much that we subsequently booked a third night. (3 separate bookings in total.) The staff were absolutely delightful! We were greeted with a welcome drink and kindly provided with a room upgrade. The room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable we'd slept in in ages. We loved the fact that they provided a 'proper' espresso coffee machine that brewed 'quality' coffee.....really nice touch! The view from our room - overlooking the pool, the sea and Trogir - was fabulous! The breakfast served was of a very high standard compared to some of the other hotels we later stayed at in Croatia. The spa facilities, including sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, were provided without extra charge - this was a huge bonus and very much appreciated! The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will certainly return to this gem of a hotel!

What didn't we like?..........That we didn't stay longer!

Our experience with this hotel ,and the staff, has been nothing short of exceptional from very first contact. Our original dates had to be rescheduled after our dog fell ill the night before our trip. Special mention to Esther and Kristina for being so helpful during what was a very stressful situation for us at the time. Anyway, having finally arrived we were greeted with smiles and a complimentary upgrade to a room with a terrace and jacuzzi. The room is stunning and the terrace is just amazing, we feel very privileged to have enjoyed this. The pool and bar area is beautiful and a pleasure to spend time in. Whilst here we also treated ourselves to a massage from Claudia. Once again, an exceptional experience. The staff throughout the hotel are the best I’ve experienced for a long time, they cannot do enough for you and always with a smile. Breakfast is a real treat, plentiful and it’s so nice to have it whilst enjoying the views. We had to wait a little longer than we’d originally planned to visit this hotel but it was worth it and we will definitely be back.

The location is perfect, just 700m from the city centre and right next to the beach. Ideal for a walk after dinner. Perfect for morning routine, running, swimming in the sea, or in the pool. Small but cosy gym, well equipped. Dry and steam sauna can be switched on even before working hours, early in the morning after the swim. Excellent breakfast, simply said everything that you might desire, respecting all dietary requirements. A la minute option for omelettes, sunny side ups, pancakes, etc. Mediterranean fish options, all kinds of nuts, kinoa, chia, and other, healthy options for morning boosted-up meal to keep you energised through the day. Special thanks to all the staff members. They go step beyond to fulfil every special request. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful, clean, well appointed rooms. Very comfortable bed. Excellent location and wonderful friendly staff. It's an 8 min drive to the airport, and a 10 min enjoyable scenic walk to Trogir old town. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The property is in a beautiful building, kept brilliantly clean. Feels very fancy. Welcome drink of white wine was refreshing after our long drive from Kotor. Nice collection of coffee table books, nicely decorated rooms. Very tastefully done. Didn't have breakfast since we had an early morning flight to catch. The staff very thoughtfully packed us a sandwich, yogurt and banana each. On the whole, a really good hotel.

A bit pricey, and a good view would've been nice. Our room faced their rear block. Our windows looked into other room's windows. Since we were there for just one evening, it was not a problem. But someone staying for longer should try and get the front rooms. Beautiful views from there. The shower is a bit tight for the size of the room and toilet.

Truly lovely hotel, only a 10 min walk to the Old Town of Trogir, in a beautifully modernised historic building. All the staff were very friendly and made it a wonderful stay - Esther made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived with a free room upgrade, to a beautiful suite, and a glass of prosecco as we checked in 😊. Other staff were always ready to guide us about trips etc. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on a day when we had an excursion very early. Amazing setting for the meals on a covered terrace with views over the waterfront. Breakfast was excellent too, with lots of options and some new items each day. Some reviews have mentioned aircraft noise, as it's on the flight path to Split airport. However the rooms are so well soundproofed you really don't notice it when inside. It also means it's on a 10 min taxi ride to the airport!

I really can't fault anything!

This place is gem. We were greeted at the front desk by Ana who was incredibly professional and so welcoming. We had arrived early and so the room that we’d booked wasn’t ready. This wasn’t a problem to us, but Ana offered us a welcome Prosecco, and my daughter an orange juice, from the bar while we waited. Ana returned to us 10 minutes later and told us that we’d been upgraded to a suite! We were shown to room 110. The suite was beautiful. A spacious living area, large bathroom and large bedroom with the most luxurious king bed and beautiful wooden floors. The view from the bedroom was over Trogir island and was stunning. We asked about the opening times for the pool and we’re told 9am to 9pm, but if we wanted to swim out with those hours they could arrange that. We were provided with a map and information regarding the area and had free parking for our car. Every staff member that we came across was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was delightful. It was Easter Sunday, and the staff had laid out home made rabbit rolls, carrot cakes and painted eggs for the kids. My 8 year old was delighted. Homemade jams, fresh OJ and breakfast items were also cooked to order. The pool area at the front of the hotel is beautiful. Lovely, thick pool towels were rolled and left on the sun loungers for guests to use (no towel charge/pool cards…a welcome change)! The hotel feels classy without being intimidating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with the only downside being that we weren’t there for longer.

Lovely building with fabulous furnishings creating a calm atmosphere

There were private pool parties 3 out of the 4 days we were there. There was also a group using 15 (of total 40) bedrooms with around 20 children that totally took over the pool area for 2 days with children dive bombing and very loud music on 2 afternoons. We went for a peaceful break - we didn’t get one! The staff managed the situation well but I believe the management need to decide what they want to create? Peaceful upmarket or beach club vibe? They can’t deliver both at the same time in my view - it’s different customer sets

Hotel Brown Beach was so beautiful - everything about it...the building, the reception area, the rooms, the pool, the view..with unique decor. It was one of my favorite hotels that we stayed in while in Croatia. We felt so welcome as we checked in and were greeted with a welcome drink and the staff helped us to get our luggage into our rooms and park our car for the night. The spa was nice and the location to old town was great.

Our room was a little warm. They said the heat had been turned on for the winter and therefore ac would not work. We left the window open during the night and got some fresh cool air that way.

Fabulous retro chic hotel. Loved the decor, and the attention to detail. The building is gorgeous and the outdoor pool is stunning. There is also a smaller indoor pool area which is nice and good for when the sun isn’t yet on the terrace. We arrived really early as we had to disembark our boat by 9am. The hotel was only 5 minutes drive from the marina and has a fantastic view of the old town. The staff were really helpful and welcoming, despite dealing with a power cut when we arrived, and we were able to chill out by the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. We were delighted to be upgraded to a stunning suite. We had a lovely lunch at the restaurant and fab cocktails. It was an easy short walk into the old town for dinner. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Trogir.

It’s very close to Split airport which is handy, but does mean you have planes going over quite frequently.
