The hotel room was exactly as advertised, and incredibly comfortable. Food at the hotel restaurant was also delicious, and not too expensive despite the quality. Also, photos make the portions look small, but we weren't able to finish all our food. Finally, the staff spoke amazing English and were great.

The sauna experience caught us off guard a little. We were told to come down in our bathrobes and slippers, and once we got to the sauna, we were given a towel to sit on and a sheet to wrap up in. There was no privacy to do so. The saunas all had glass walls, the showers had no walls, and everything was in a single open area. There was nowhere to change or rinse off in private, and there were several people who were naked. That said, we had a great time and did relax. We just weren't expecting it to be like that. All the guests were extremely respectful, no one was weird or staring at others, and I would recommend it. Just be prepared for the atmosphere.

The hotel looked modern and elegant, I hear that they renovated it a few years ago and they really did a good job. The room itself was clean, with a big and comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and a coffee maker which is always a plus. The staff was also kind anough to provide us with a cot, which was cute and had really pretty sheets. The breakfast was very good, in a nice restaurant. It could use a bit of variety, but everaything was delicious. The parking was free and there was enough space. The hotel is a walking distance from the city centre and it's right in front of playground, which is convenient if you have kids. The staff was kind and helpful.

I have two small things I didn't quite like. The hotel has no balconies, only small windows, which can be a bit claustrophobic since the room was also small. I can understand why our room had no balcony, since it was overklooking the ventilation system (I'm guessing that's what it was) which was buzzing all the time, but since it was hot, there was no need to open the window. Also, there was only one receptionist most of the time, which was not a problem 99% of the time, but just as we were checking out, another guest had a complaint and we had to wait a long time for it to be resolved.

The breakfast was fantastic, lots of food choices. A need to have more cutlery on tables (a suggestion). The staff were very polite, pleasant and professional. We really appreciated the cheerful and fantastic lady Mirijana on the 5th floor who was always very conscientious in making sure we had a clean room and towels. A wonderful worker. Thank you!

Beautifully renovated hotel in the city center of Varazdin with an amazing spa area where you´ll truly rest during your stay. One of the best places I have ever stayed at. The restaurant is amazing. The personnel is willing to help with any requirements you might have. Nearby there is a shopping area (talking by car distance) and also have good access to the highway to Zagreb (was commuting daily).

The first night I did not get the room I requested and there was a conference in the hotel, so too many walking around in the night on my floor. However the next day this was fixed (I asked for another room) on a different floor and since then I just enjoyed it.

The hotel is very near the old center, it is a nice moder building, big room, stylish, wonderful big bathroom, all amenities available. A very pleasent experience!

I am wondering who drinks the 3 in 1 nescafee, that is offered in the room. Also, how comes that the cheese, ham, cereal are not covered at the breakfast buffet?

Reception staff were great - really friendly and helpful, so too the lovely lady from housekeeping. The room was very clean and modern, with a well stocked mini-bar. The breakfast was very good (even though we slept late and missed it the first day!). The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of the charming Old Town.

The beds are a significant improvement on many in eastern and Central European hotels but the mattresses are still quite hard. The day manager tried to find a topper but the hotel did not possess any. They kindly offered 2 extra duvets to place on the mattress but these don't really do the job so investing in a few toppers would help, especially for those travellers with back and muscular problems.

Free parking across the road from the hotel. It was a 10 minute walk into the city centre, which had a wide range of shops. Breakfast was good, there weren't many options. The room was incredibly comfy. The staff were nice and accommodating. The health spa had the best saunas we have ever used and towels and robes were provided.

It says that the price includes a spa. Unfortunately, there were no free appointments. Maybe this could be organized a bit better.

Our room was really big and comfortable, everything was clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the hotel restaurant (breakfast and dinner) and the newly opened spa. We got lucky with the spa hours because we were the only ones there in the afternoon so it was an incredibly relaxing experience. :)

The only thing that could have been better was the pillows and room orientation because the room was above the ventilation pipes so it was a bit noisy throughout the night when we wanted to have an open window during sleep.

Tastefully renovated hotel, friendly staff, spacious and cosy rooms, walking distance to the city center, abundant and variated breakfast. The welness offer looked amazing as well, unfortunately we did not have enough time to try it out, but will definitely come back.
