As a businessman returning for my second stay, I was excited to discover that the hotel has a new name now—Petit Grand Hotel. I must say, it's a very fitting name because this charming establishment, with just 17 rooms, truly embodies the concept of being "grand" in its own delightful way! From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and hospitality. They remembered me from my previous stay, which made me feel valued as a guest. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, allowing me to settle in quickly. The room was cozy and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable double bed dressed in fresh white cotton linens. After long days of meetings, I appreciated the orthopedic mattress that provided excellent support for a restful night's sleep. The shower was fantastic—plenty of hot water and great pressure, making it easy to unwind after a busy day.One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of options, including some healthy choices that I appreciated as someone who likes to start the day right. The coffee was excellent—rich and flavorful, just how I like it! The dining area has a pleasant atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy your meal while planning your day. And to top it off, soothing music played softly in the background, creating a relaxing ambiance perfect for starting the day. I also love the hotel's location; it's in a quiet neighborhood but still conveniently close to public transport. It only took about 25 minutes to reach the city center. Plus, the free parking right outside the hotel is a significant advantage for someone like me who travels by car. The attention to detail at Petit Grand Hotel is commendable. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the friendly demeanor of the staff, everything contributes to a comfortable and professional environment. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. In summary, I highly recommend the hotel! ¡Hasta la próxima!

In sooth, as an aged Dutch lady, I did embark upon a journey with mine family to the enchanting city of Prague. Our sojourn at the Hotel Shato hath filled mine heart with joy and contentment. The hotel, adorned with splendid decorations, did present a most delightful atmosphere. The cleanliness of our quarters was beyond reproach, for every corner sparkled as if touched by the hands of fairies. The furnishings, both elegant and comfortable, did provide us with a warm embrace after our daily explorations. Prague, with its cobbled streets and majestic architecture, did captivate our spirits, yet it was the charm of our abode that made our stay truly memorable. I wouldst highly recommend this establishment to any traveler seeking relax and beauty in their lodgings. Verily, I look forward to returning to this wondrous city and the Hotel Shato, where memories are made and cherished.

As a seasoned business traveler, I recently returned to the Shato hotel in Prague, and I was delighted to see the impressive renovations. The hotel boasts a fresh and clean atmosphere, with a beautifully updated breakfast area featuring new white and wooden furniture. My room was freshly painted, decorated with lovely artwork, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was simple yet satisfying, and the high speed Wi-Fi kept me connected and productive throughout my stay. I also appreciated the free parking and the hotel's convenient access to the city center. I highly recommend the Hotel to fellow travelers seeking comfort, cleanliness, and excellent amenities. I look forward to my next visit!

I would recommend having the extra memory foam pillow that I prefer already in the room, instead of having to ask for it at reception.

As a business traveler, I had the pleasure of staying at Shato Hotel during my recent trip to Prague. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by the cleanliness and modern decor that greeted me. The room, although compact, was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the bed sheets were crisp, clean, and fresh. The room had a pleasant aroma, further enhancing the sense of cleanliness and attention to detail. One of the highlights of my stay was the light breakfast area. The selection of food, while not extensive, was decent and satisfying. What truly impressed me was the excellent coffee selection, which is often a rarity in Prague. The coffee was of high quality and served in a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was reliable and fast, which was essential for me to stay productive during my trip. As a business traveler, I appreciate the importance of a well-maintained and clean environment. Hotel exceeded my expectations in this regard, providing a comfortable and professional setting for my stay. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail is commendable and made my business trip more enjoyable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Grand Petit Hotel to fellow business travelers seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-appointed accommodation in Prague.

Although the hotel lacked air conditioning, the provided fan and comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The blackout curtains were a valuable asset, effectively blocking heat and light for a restful stay.

Very nice small hotel, close to the metro line - around 10 min walking. So you can be wherever you want in Prague within 25 mins. It’s just near the park so there is so quiet, you can relax and listen to the birds in the mornings. The breakfast is reasonable, the same every morning but you can find something to eat. We are not exigent when comes to breakfast so for us it was ok. There are free parking in front of the hotel, but this depends when you get there. But if you can’t find it there, the street is quite large and definitely you’ll find a free space - you don’t have to worry about this aspect.

Everything ok

Breakfast was good and had a good variety of things. The room had a good quality hair-dryer which was a plus. It also had a bottle of water refilled every day. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, although it was surprising that there was no personnel on the grounds for days other than the person refilling breakfast - but it worked. Might not be the best area for general sightseeing as it is residential and a bit further out (but it felt like a nice, safe neighbourhood nonetheless).

The room (it was a one person room) was a bit small, even for that and it was a top floor so it had slanted walls which also decreased the feeling of its size.

I recently managed to get away from Spain to Prague and stayed at Shato Hotel, which was conveniently located closer to the airport. Since I only had one day in the city, I purposely chose to stay outside the noisy city center so I could sleep well. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after my flight. I was very impressed by the beautiful staircase, where the lights moved with the steps, creating a lovely atmosphere. The hotel was clean and my room had lovely artwork on the walls. The breakfast was simple but good, and I enjoyed the fresh coffee and local delights. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. I had a wonderful time exploring Prague despite my short visit!

Would like to come to this hotel more often!

This is a pleasant, low-key hotel in a suburban area, relatively easy to access if you're driving in, without needing to pass through too much of the city on the way in. The city centre is a 20 minute Uber ride away. The staff were super friendly, and they made sure to put me in a quiet room which I appreciated. The room was large with all the amenities. Breakfast could have had a larger selection.

I chose this hotel because I had a business meeting nearby. The hotel exceeded my expectations - extremely clean, I especially liked the perfect white cotton bed linen. The mattress was also comfortable, probably even more comfortable than what I have at home. On the reception I even was offered a memory foam extra pillow. The blackout curtains kept the light out and I had a great night's sleep before the meeting. In general, the hotel had an atmosphere of calm and comfort, located in a quiet location next to a park (with easy access to the metro). In the evening, to work with my laptop, I sat down in a cozy chair in the hall, where there was very fast Internet (which I was worried about). The staff made a decent impression, both during check-in and at breakfast there were nice girls, it was clear that they were not indifferent to what they were doing. The breakfast was a buffet, not super varied, but again worthy of a 3 star hotel - and there was a selection of healthy, tasty options, as well as gluten-free options, which was important to me. I was also pleased with the possibility of late check-in, everything was conveniently organized online. As a result - my clear 10 points and a new booking for the next month)

The hotel does not have an elevator.

-Interesting design -reasonable price -room reasonably sized -family run hotel -breakfast adeguate to a 3* =nothing extraordinary but sufficient

-when entered the room after arrival, it had unpleasant smell.. like mixture of cigarettes and bathroom drainage (wet sponge smell); I kept the window opened the whole night and sprayed perfume and in the morning it was a lot better - I suppose the problem was the room had the window closed and no aircondition so the air inside was kinda old (maybe open the windows before your guest arrival)
