The calm of the place, the proximity to nature, the fact that the hotel was human-sized. It is not the typical stay, and you could feel that people care. The owners were also very flexible and helped us out with a delayed check-in.

I would have loved having some warm options for the breakfast, a bit more insulatioon with the adjacent rooms, and having the beds made systematically without having to ask. But nothing dramatic really.

Comfortable Sitting room area next to sleeping area French doors out to private patio. Cubbies in sitting area to contain personal items. Generous hanging area for clothes. Blackout blinds in sitting area. Very nice breakfasts Nice sheets. Short walk through beautiful forest to ocean(although beach not really accessible,) still worth the walk.

No counter space in bathroom. Bathroom floor not clean around the edges; tops of baseboards had several months buildup of dust. Blackout curtains needed on bedroom window.

Lovely location in the forest. Friendly welcome, with complimentary drink! Good bed and shower. Coffee and tea in room. Very good breakfast buffet.

The room was very small. Little space around the bed. The units are all ground floor, and like a motel. Other residents walk past. For natural light and ventilation, there are only the glass door in front, and a window in the bathroom. That makes privacy difficult.

The breakfast was good although I would have liked more fruit other than a handful of grapes. The price to rent a bike, helmet, and lock for 2 days was a good deal and bike was adequate; could have done with some servicing but otherwise worked. Location is excellent in the woods (listening to birds in the morning) yet still near the amenities of Ronne. Huge deck for outdoor dining or lounging plus a separate huge deck at back with BBQ for special events.

Hotel Skovly gets high praise from my husband and I. Great room, super breakfast, friendly owners, clean and the wooded environment surrounding provides hiking, biking, and a short walk to the beach. The owners have considered everything anyone might want. We definitely recommend a stay here.

The scenic location that the property is located in is really beautiful. Surrounded by nature, so close to the beach, away from the main road, it is more than what it was sold to me by review and online pics. Plus the staff was so friendly and professional. They allowed an early check in, gave me and my wife rental bikes at a discounted price, such nicely behaved and helping people. This place is a perfect idea for a weekend getaway or for a long relaxed stay.

I liked everything

It is located in a nice area close to the beach. We have friends coming over to have breakfast together here and we also took the BBQ facility offered from here to have a chill day.

The room we booked was a bit small, but it is worth for the money!

Breakfast is not up to the standard . Basic breakfast Bed mattress is not comfortable to sleep

The hotel is pretty and in beautiful place. At the breakfast you must try very tasty orange and rose jams.

Beautiful traditional location close to nature. Lovely walks among the trees to the sand dunes and beach. Very good breakfast.

No cups, spoons or glasses in the bedrooms. There was a kettle!!??
